  1. One step closer to justice. I hope Stabby doesn’t get to speak tomorrow- she must have run out of lies by now.

In her alternative universe her lies are the truth. She lies, till she dies.

Such a sad, sad day. Travis did not deserve to suffer like that. She who cries only for herself is so very wicked.

  3. Mitigator #1 ……
Well, well, well, Stabby’ cruel parents stole her pot plants, poor Stabby!
Mitigator #2 …… Stabby parents did not praise her art work!

Your turn, I also want 2 Long Island ice teas!

So will tomorrow’s court result in a decision re: lethal injection, life w/o parole, or life w/parole?

    • Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 15, 2013 at 7:07 pm

My two cents is that the “life with parole” train has permenantly pulled out of Stabbyville, never to return for her.
Her bridge to LWP has burned to cinders. And she need only to look in the mirror to find the perp who burned it.

      • surely there would not be a: “life with parole”!!

        • Posted by Lisa K on May 16, 2013 at 2:01 am

That’s not even an option now; once the jury ruled that Jodi acted in a cruel and heinous manner, her chance for parole disappeared. The only sentencing options now are L w/o P or DP.

And to think; 8-10 weeks ago JA was saying that she expected to be convicted of voluntary manslaughter and to serve another 2 years.

JA will never leave prison alive. It’s up to the jury to decide how long that life will be.

          • Posted by CharleyQ on May 16, 2013 at 2:36 pm

I understood that if the jury unanimously decides to take “death” off the table, then the JUDGE decides between LWOP and LWP…is that not the case?

          • Posted by CharleyQ on May 16, 2013 at 2:37 pm

(But I don’t believe that the judge would consider LWP in any event.)

      • Posted by pfenix on May 16, 2013 at 7:34 pm

She would only see Travis or Juan or the Alexander family, because it is everybody else’s fault. Or she could get her arsonist friend Donavan to burn them for her. Or JoDie can just burn in hell at the end of the day.

    • I completely agree with De and Dr…No way they are going life with or without parole. This jury seems to have great integrity. So many people are saying that giving the DP is not something the women can do, or that the men can give to a woman but remember that Maricopa County are the people who continually vote Sheriff Joe in office. He is well liked because he is tough on crime, and he keeps the taxes low. That is the jury she is facing. Most of AZ is pretty tough on crime (with the exception of Pima County…where I live). They aren’t going to let her off so easy. De I couldn’t have said it better that …”train has permenantly pulled out of Stabbyville, never to return for her”

      • Posted by Lisa K on May 16, 2013 at 2:09 am

You’re correct about AZ. I used to live in Mesa. Maricopa County is very conservative.

I can’t say with certainty that she’ll get the DP, but I would bet money that she will.

When the jury was assembled, every juror stated that they could agree to sentence someone to death if the evidence and crime met the criteria for the DP. JA’s behavior in court hasn’t helped her. Her only attempt at remorse has been to cry when pics of TA’s body are shown. Other than that, nada.

It took the jury 1-2 hours (if that long) to decide that this was a cruel and heinous crime. 12 people gave a unanimous decision on that issue in 1-2 hours, knowing that they would now have to make a life/death decision soon. I think that if any juror was shying away from the DP, the jury would have deliberated for a longer period today.

        • That is what I think, too. They don’t seem to have any hang-ups on what to do. I wonder if they talked about DP yesterday, and decided to go sleep on it before discussing it today.

      • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:13 am

I read somewhere yesterday that Jodi picked the worst state to commit murder because AZ does not mess around!

        • I think the only other state she could have picked that would have been harsher than AZ would be Texas. I wonder if she believed that AZ would be less likely because she was raised in CA, where there is no DP, or because the people are less harsh. I guess it is better not to try to understand her psyche…I will get PTSD and go into a fog!

          • Posted by pfenix on May 16, 2013 at 7:38 pm

That would require thought and real not imaginary intelligence. Lending you my super Maglight flashlight in cause of fog.

I actually have been wondering the very same. This Wicca dippy chick had no IDEA what she was up against when she rolled across the California state line that June 4th night 2008.

Barcalounger Nurmi and Cheerleader reject Jennie were in fine form today. Stabby was looking pitiful, especially when they lower her chair to ground level to make her appear tiny and frail. Puppetmaster Juan was in great form. He was masterful at conjuring up visual images of the She Devil Hodi as she delivered strike after strike. Jennie proved her mastery of questioning witnesses when she confidently asked the Medical Examiner if it were true that Travis wouldn’t have felt any pain after he died. Nurmi was intent on showing that while all murders are inherently “cruel” this really wasn’t that cruel. You know when Travis’ adrenalin was being pumped through his body that would have number the pain from the knife strikes. Although to show her sensitive side, Jennie did say “passed on.” Hodi appeared to have used up her quota of fake tears though and was unable to muster any up. Instead she gave the jurors the evil eye as they delivered their “cruelty proven” verdict. She wasted no time in laying down the marching orders to her two minions disguised as her defense attorneys. So tomorrow will be interesting to see who they can dredge up to muster some sympathy for the evil one.

I also liked it when Jodi was shaking her head “no ” when Juan was talking about the stabbing and the sequence of events. I guess the guilty verdict has restored some of Jodi’s memories.

      • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:15 am

I found that interesting too. She did that during the actual trial also. I guess her *fog* was lifting.

        • Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 4:46 am

Yes, the head shaking was definitely counter to the show the DT attempted to put on about her amnesia/fog.

          • Posted by Lee Wright on May 16, 2013 at 5:23 am

Hi, the head shaking always gets me to, I wonder why she doesn’t stand up and yell, NO, thats not the way it happened, but of course the problem was her being in a fog causes a problem…. also I nearly had an accident when Wilma seriously asked, Is it true he would not be able to feel any pain after he was dead?????

      • Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 6:20 am

Ohhh great points!! Didn’t even register with me that she was still supposed to be in that “fog” then.

      • Posted by Marnie Paige on May 16, 2013 at 10:11 am

Same here. Took a while for it to register – guess I’ve caught the fog factor – but she shook her head when Juan said Travis could see her reflection in the mirror.

I agree how hideous Jen & Nurmi can get. There is no end to how LOW they can go….almost as bad as Jodi with all her lies. Their theory on how little Travis suffered with the outrageous idea that because he was in a fight for his life with Jodi..his blood flow was so much greater & it made him die from blood loss faster. WOW…like Jodi was doing Travis a favor by stabbing him 29 times & made his adrenalin get so high he felt not so much pain. Travis was still alive when Jodi slit his throat. Yes it made me very angry when they used the term that Travis “passed away”…as if from natural causes & not the slaughter that Jodi laid on him.

Juan finally went into more detail on how Travis suffered not only physically but the sheer terror he went thru fighting for his life. I posted on the HLN TV Facebook my theory on how it all went down & how Travis was probably screaming from pain & begging & pleading for his life. Travis went down the hallway hoping to make it outside to call for help, but Jodi made sure that didn’t happen. I think by this time Travis was so weak that it was easy for Jodi to knock him to the floor & then slit his throat.

It would be awesome ,if tomorrow, Jodi admitted she lied about almost everything & told the REAL truth. Especially that she lied about Travis being a pedafile (??spelling). It would be some kind of miracle if Jodi told the TRUTH.

One thing that I never heard during the trial was…isn’t there a law that increases the seriousness of a murder when the killer is “Laying In Wait”? I think Jodi could be considered as “laying in wait” because she stayed & waited for Travis to get in the shower where he was pretty much trapped & naked & totally defenseless against a knife & a gun. Even if the prosecution didn’t have to bring up the ‘Laying In Wait” charge to get Jodi convicted of premeditated 1st degree murder, I wish Juan would have made that point if it was a legal issue. I HATE it all as much as most people………….SHE DRUG HIM THRU THE BLOOD..THEN SHE DRUG HIM THRU THE MUD. I’ve watched tons of real life murder mysteries & Jodi is way up near the top with other EVIL KILLERS….i.e. Scott Peterson (I’ll never forget little Connor & Lacy)…& Serial Killers. I’m gettin’ creepy chills thinkin’ ’bout the pain of all their loved ones left behind. Like 8 year old Martin, that was killed at the Boston Marathon, wrote on a poster before he was killed…Stop Hurting People. I’m always saying…Stop The Insanity & never give up on the thought that someday there will be PEACE.

      • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:21 am

Agree with everything Judy! As this case has gone on, the more I’ve felt the premeditation was even more complex than everyone first thought. Obviously, she knew it was Travis’ habit to shower after sex. It was her plan for him to be naked and vulnerable, for none of the room mates to be home.

I too watch a ton of ID channel murder shows and for sure, Travis’ murder is probably the most brutal and heinous one I’ve seen a woman commit.

        • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 5:06 am

I agree, Ria. I’m not sure if the murder went down as she planned it, but I think she was planning to contain the whole thing to the shower area, and she just couldn’t clean up all the blood…there was too much. Plus, she was probably yelling vile things at him the whole time. She didn’t do this quietly, because she just can’t shut up. Part of me wants to know the truth, but it may be so much more heinous than what the physical evidence shows (for example, his feet had stab wounds and were bruised…she stepped or stomped on him) I don’t know if the family could take any more death details. They’ve already had to endure the verbal assassination of their brother for months. The whole thing is just unthinkable!

          • Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 6:08 am

Yes, agree with you all too.
*Something* didn’t go according to plan. Likely she never expected him to be able to get out of the shower.
The before-murder sex was either to get him to do his post-sex shower or it was a really perverted stroke of sadism and revenge..or both.

          • Posted by Marnie Paige on May 16, 2013 at 10:15 am

Never thought of that but planning for the murder to be contained in the shower makes good sense – and part of her planning.

ID (Investigation Discovery) is the one I call the Murder and Mayhem Channel. And yeah, I watch it a good bit.

          • Posted by Lauren on May 17, 2013 at 5:49 pm

I watch A LOT of those murder and mayhem shows and the occasional 48 hours/Dateline, etc. (My kids wonder why I like them so much…LOL) I agree with you all that say this was by far one of the most premeditated, evil and brutal murders I have ever seen.

I also wanted to comment that I really enjoy the humor and hospitality the host and babysitter have provided for us to *conversate* intelligently about his case.

            Thank you all!

      • If Homecoming Queen wannabe Jennie’s theory of adrenaline as a pain killer is to be considered, then think of all the money we could save in surgery on those anesthetic drugs. Think they taught her that in law school? The very idea!!!!

        • Posted by CharleyQ on May 16, 2013 at 2:46 pm

Notice they didn’t introduce an EXPERT to confirm their theories of “no pain” ~ and “thank goodness she stabbed him so many times and then chased him down the hallway because he died VERY quickly then and felt ‘no pain’…”…it was just the Homecoming Queen and Nurmi testifying to it…

    • …And, the prom queen contestant got to do her cat-walk to the bench several times for a sidebar and show off her new dress and shoes, but the ugly details of Stabby’s work being revealed by the Pit Bull made it really hard for her to keep the smile of a winner on her face!

    • Posted by Maddy on May 16, 2013 at 10:01 am

OMG – Willmutt is SOOOoooo STUPID!!! Where did she get her law degree – Dumb R Us???? ;))

      • Yes and so did Fat Ass Nurmi! Totally incompetent attorney’s. Now Heavy D is saying her life should be spared because she is an artist and has good friends!!!!Arias, was abused! Bull…..this woman needs the Ultimate penalty. Stabby, slaughtered Mr. Alexander and she should be spared because she can draw? Who she is ? A narcisstic, physopath, pathlogical liar, a killer without ANY remorse this is what she is!! Go Mr. Martinez, Go, My prayers are with you and the family of Travis Alexander!!!! As I type this she resembles a plucked chicken with cold black dead eyes. This pitiful look is not going to work.

Mitigating Factor: “her age”…[what 27 year old doesn’t know you shouldn’t BUTCHER PEOPLE?] Mitigating Factor: “no criminal history”…[testimony and interviews have showed that she slashed tires, unlawfully entered his home, and stole a ring ~ these are all criminal ACTS…she was just never prosecuted for them] Mitigating Factor: “she was abused”…[ummm ~ there was absolutely NO cooberating testimony to that EVER…only her words…and IN FACT, both her parents indicated that it was SHE that was mistrustful and out of control.] Mitigating Factor: “she was always trying to make her life better”…[ummm ~ premeditating the SLAUGHTER of another human being is not on any ‘self-help’ list I’ve been able to find.] And yes, [my favorite] Mitigating Factor: “she is an artist”…[the world ~ and prisons ~ are full of artists…one or another either way (dead/alive) is not going to make any difference ~ her plagerized artwork will not change the world anyway ~ so really, who cares.]

          • Hi CharleyQ, just a note on her pulling a “Casey Anthony” on her parents to hype up her child abuse defense. In the interview she just gave immediately after the verdict was read, she told the reporter, “her mother was a Saint, and Jodi didn’t deserve her for trashing her mother so badly in court.” It was just more of the same lie, lie, lie strategy. I really believe that she controlled her defense team, told them what to say, how to say it etc. She genuinely believes she’s smarter than everyone, including Einstein.

Regarding Stabby – I say give her death (because of the extreme isolation and restrictions); or give her life without parole (so she won’t be the death row martyr that’s still in the spotlight). Don’t care either way, just want Jodi to GO AWAY. For good.

I so agree with you! And, too bad we can’t throw the aunt in there with them. Before the verdict even came in yesterday, she was on facebook totally trashing the Alexander family about how they fake cry in court, and calling Tanisha names and saying she is on drugs. The apply really doesn’t fall far from the tree!

I was sold on Sandra Arias cold blooded heart when she told Det Flores: “how could she ruin the rest of her life by doing something like this?” Uuh, no mention of concern, horror or disbelief about “whom” her evil spawn killed, his family. Infact, I’d bet my house Mommy Dearest wasn’t surprised JA killed.

        • Posted by Lisa K on May 16, 2013 at 2:17 am

I found that to be amazingly vile. The Alexander family hasn’t said a word about JA’s family. Not a single word. But Stabby’s Aunt trolls FB and JAII mouthing off about Travis’ family?

This is why JA got away with so much crap throughout her life. She doesn’t take accountability for her actions and her family doesn’t expect her to do so. Because it’s never Jodi’s fault.

          • Posted by Terri LaValle on May 16, 2013 at 6:22 am

I couldn’t believe what I was reading yesterday with the aunt’s posts. It was disgusting. They act like JA did nothing wrong. The whole family is nuts.

  9. Posted by Laurel on May 15, 2013 at 8:31 pm

Seems like the Jury is disgusted with Stabby’s b.s., lies and lack of remorse.

Doesn’t matter what her minions try to come up with tomorrow. Anything they pretend will likely backfire – nobody is going to believe for two seconds that she truly has any remorse even if she tries faking it tomorrow on the stand.
Her hostility during the trial when Juan was examining her, and after-the-verdict tv interview prove different.

The DP train is gonna pull Stabby out of the station.

Let her live the ‘rest of her natural life’ (until the needle eventually goes into her arm many years hence) in an 8′ x 10′ cell, with no more publicity for her to feed on.
No sunshine and constant fresh air, no windows with a great view, no soft 300 thread count sheets, no thick comfortable mattress, no fluffy down pillows, no air-conditioning when its hot or heat when its cold, no great water pressure in a nicely tiled clean shower with triple milled soap, no fresh flowers, no delicious food, no vacations, no pretty clothes, no car, no going to the movies, no going to the park, or to the beach or to the mountains, no visiting any tourist attractions, no freedom!

Prison has been said to be a really horrendous form of h*ll.

Travis will be remembered with love and loving words.
Stabby will be forgotten – or vilified when she is mentioned, if she is mentioned at all.
THANK GOODNESS THIS JURY IS “THE JURY SHE WAS MEANT TO HAVE” and they clearly are showing what they think her cruelty deserves!

    • Posted by Lisa K on May 16, 2013 at 2:25 am

Jodi had the perfect opportunity to show some remorse during that interview. Instead she whined about how horrible it would be to spend her natural life in prison so she wanted the “ultimate freedom”, death. She wants her freedom as soon as possible.

My mouth dropped when she said those things.

Not one ounce of “I’m so sorry that I killed Travis. She could keep with her bizarre “self-defense” crap, and still say that she is sad that she killed him or that she regrets having done so. Instead, she whined about wanting her freedom as soon as possible.

      • Posted by Terri LaValle on May 16, 2013 at 6:26 am

Her regrets are all about her. She has no regrets regarding Travis or his family.

That is so true Lisa K, even those who kill in self defense have remorse. But not Stabby!

Jennifer Willmot and Kirk Nurmy (sp?) must have received their degrees to practice law from a Cracker Jack box or something like that. They both asked some of the dumbest questions I ever heard. Willmot asking Dr. DeMarte if you couldn’t ask dead people questions and then Dr. Horn if it were true that Travis wouldn’t have felt any pain after he died—I submit that that woman put the DUH in DUMB!

    • Posted by Sully on May 15, 2013 at 9:50 pm

JW made it sound like it’s Travis’ fault that he died so quickly, because his adrenaline was amped up because of fight or flight after he was stabbed which caused him to bleed out more quickly. Huh? Is she implying he should have remained calm so he would have died more slowly? In the words of Eggy…Derrrrp!

      • Posted by Danny on May 15, 2013 at 10:05 pm

Yeah, it’s Travis’s fault because he let his adrenaline run wild after Jodi started stabbing him and playing the slice and dice game. How could Jodi know that he wasn’t going to co-operate and just die right then when she stabbed him in the chest? After all, she probably saw someone do that on tv and the person who got stabbed just fell to the ground dead and figured that’s how it worked. derrrrp!

Mitigation guess: AVL on domestic violence victim, Psychologist TBD embracing Demarte’s diagnosis of BPD and (drumroll) Jodee! The one thing she won’t do, which would have the best chance – confess, say why she did it, apologize to Alexander family. I’m trying to decide if she’ll come up with a new story or embellish the whoppers she’s already told.

    • Posted by Lisa K on May 16, 2013 at 2:29 am

ALV will not be in the court room again. The jury made it clear that they thought she was nutters. She harmed JA’s case.

I don’t know that fessing up to her actions would help JA now. Those poor jurors have spent 4.5 months dealing with her lies. She lied directly to their faces. Even if she said what “really happened”, how would anyone, esp the jury, believe her?

  15. One question I have for Stabby: Was it all worth it?

It looks like Stabby’s jury is going to give the demon her “wish”. I see the DP coming here. I also don’t think her Mitigation Specialist is gonna help sway this jury. ( She looks like she belongs on HBO’s “Hookers at the Point” ). If all else fails, they could just put Hodi and OJ in a cell together, and give them both a knife.

    • Posted by Janine on May 16, 2013 at 7:21 pm

Has the mitigation specialist done anything? She hasn’t moved from her comfortable seat for months except to placate the demon when Wilmott is away from the desk.

  18. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 12:29 am

If she admits she was (gasp!) wrong (LOL yeah right) and throws herself on the mercy of the court, not only will the court throw her right back, but it will also screw up most of her appeals. What’s a Stabby convicted murderer to DO?

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:33 am

I honestly can’t see her ever admitting she was wrong. She’s her own worst enemy. Jinkasaurus was saying after the DP verdict came in Stabby was all business with her attorneys. She really thinks this is just a job she’s been assigned, I don’t think she realizes this is HER life! She probably spent all night working on her first appeal if she gets the DP.

      • Posted by Terri LaValle on May 16, 2013 at 6:49 am

If she wants to die so badly as she has stated on that interview then why appeal. I guess that was just another one of her multiple lies……….

  19. Posted by Lisa K on May 16, 2013 at 2:33 am

Was Nurmi using DeMarte’s mental health diagnosis as a hint of a possible mitigating factor in today’s closing arguments? He kept touching on mental illness and even mentioned that JA is borderline (IIRC). Is the new defense approach “she’s borderline and thus prone to angry, violent rages” … after trying to convince the jury that JA isn’t borderline for over a week??

    Craziest trial in ages.

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:59 am

I think the defense is grasping at straws at this point. Yesterday, they didn’t seem into it at all…they looked as defeated as they were. But it wouldn’t surprise me now if they tried to play up that Stabby is a victim of mental illness and didn’t realize what she was doing blah blah blah. I would think the complete lack of remorse she’s shown is etched into the jurors minds by now.

    • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 5:34 am

I’m wondering if the DT really had strategies that the Jodster deep-sixed because she knows so much more about the law than they do. Juror 8 said last night on Dr. Drew that Stabby was on the witness stand way too long and the more she talked the more unbelievable the statements she made. The juror also said it appears to him that this was a defense strategy to keep her up on the stand as long as possible to create a bond with the jury, which backfired. It wouldn’t surprise me if Stabinator came up with more questions for the DT to ask so she could stay in the courtroom limelight longer.

      • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 6:11 am

I watched the Dr. Drew re-run this morning. It was interesting listening to juror # 8, sounds like he was thinking much of what the public was. Jinkasaurus said as soon as the verdict came in yesterday, Stabby was already giving her attorneys what appeared to be instructions. Knowing her, she’ll devote herself to all her appeals now.

      • Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 6:57 am

That ex-juror’s statements were interesting. He also said that Arias’s protracted time on the stand came so early in the proceedings that it was hard to retain it all once all the other testimony ensued.

It wouldn’t surprise me either that Stabby herself orchestrated Nurmi’s slooooooow, halting, OVER-detailed questions. She looked like she was thoroughly enjoying herself during those 18 days. And Nurmi himself came off as a closet pervert as he stood there day after day asking for redundant, unnecessary details.

        • Posted by pfenix on May 16, 2013 at 8:10 pm

She loves to hear herself talk, and play the part of herself. Wormi got off on her sex talk, cuz he needed some kind of joy juice to deal with her.

  20. Posted by maria on May 16, 2013 at 3:18 am

I noticed her shaking her head too… my take on that is obviously there’s no fog. I think that’s the only time she may actually (accidentally) telling the truth. Perhaps Juans version of the events aren’t 100% accurate. Probably he’s about 99.9%. She doesn’t react most of the time that Juan is talking (which indicats he’s right on in his theory, but during that 1%, when he’s not telling the story perfectly, that’s when she shakes her head. Not because she’s being honest but because she can’t keep her trap shut. And I also noticed the evil eye to the jury as they read the verdict. Creepy. Either shes pissed and doesn’t care if she looks like a demon anymore or she’s gonna crack up tomorrow during sentencing.

    • Posted by Polk8dot on May 17, 2013 at 6:42 am

I think JM is doing what the BEST lawyers do – using the opponent’s own words against them.
It’s clear he believes Stabby’s story of the killing is complete BS. He knew there was NO WAY ON EARTH the events could have ever unfolded the way she described. But since those were the facts she gave repeatedly – he took them and ran with them, in the process exposing the whole house of lies.
When she said she rolled away from him and run down the hall, it was clear there was no way it was the truth, first of all because there was NO ATTACK BY TRAVIS!
But since she insisted that’s what happened, he used this to show how improbable it was to have taken place. Same exact thing with the gun. He knew she brought it with her, yet he played along with her BS, since she married herself to her story; he used it to show her lies again.
      That’s how GREAT LAWYERS THINK.

That strategy also exposed how completely STUPID, just plain DUMB Stabby’s DT is. Such idiocy, such incompetence, makes you seriously question how they ever finished law school.
My favorite is Nurmi huffing that ‘prosecutor knows it is impossible the murder took all of 2 minutes! IT IS RIDICULOUS to believe that in that span of time she did all she did!’.
Yet JM did not suck it out of thin air, he took the words of Stabby and DT and turned them into a weapon for turth. But if you suck as a lawyer, you will spout unbelievable stories, then scream that the opponent is lying while they are simply repeating your words.
I spent many hours sceaming at my TV when Wormi was doing that, untill I realized that NO, it is not part of his strategy, to lie repeatedly to the jury – NO, HE IS JUST TOO DUMB to do anything else!!!
‘Look, look, I just caught the prosecutor in the lie!!!!’ ‘Oh, really?? – but I was just reciting back your own words, did you already forget?’.
      S M D H! Who knew ‘FOG’ was contagious????

Why would she do that to herself knowing how much she enjoyed independence and sunshine. No more talent contests, no more cuttin it up with the girls from cell block G, no more penal beauty parlor, oh Jodi what were you thinking? I can’t wait to see her when she goes in front of a judge during appeal process. Shell be overweight, ashen and gray. And completely sane.

Morning Eggers…I left the office right after the decision came down yesterday and didn’t get another chance to comment. (All that celebratory wine left me sleepy) What a GREAT day it was. But today will be the pinnacle. unfortunately i’m not going to be able to watch until possibly an hour or two after it starts, which isn’t any big loss since nothing happens until 1:30 there anyway (i’m in texas). Hope there will be plenty of videos posted of all the impact statements….EGGspecially Travis’ family. I also wouldn’t mind watching silly willy Alyce in Wonderland just so i could yell “STFU” at the monitor…what a release that is….better than money thrown at any old therapist. It would be more fun to yell at her in person…while she’s on the stand….in the courtroom…with shell shocked Stephens looking on wondering why Heavy D isn’t hollering “objection!” And then we would all say “Judge, may we approach?” and then we’d all approach Heavy, the cheerleader and Stabby and then we’d……..dang, i gotta get ready to get to work. See ya’ll later this evening.

Yesterday Ashley Banfield listed the mitigating factors Stabster could qualify for including that this is her first offense. I guess they are not going to mention the stalking, slashed tires, peeping tom moments, entering the home illegally (hiding behind the Christmas tree), etc. There has also been a mention that in childhood she hit her brother with a baseball bat. Whatever happened to him? I don’t think he has been identified in court. Private investigators could probably unearth other victims of her scorched earth policy.

I like how Juan got that line in yesterday, something like “She didn’t let him go peacefully into the night”. I think it was a little jab at Stabby’s interview comment, saying she’d have been happy to go “quietly into the night” if they’d accepted her plea deal.

First, I need to get this out..I’m having Eggie withdrawls!!! I just got hooked a month ago but Egg-o wds are already setting in. I clicked here and found out my newfound happy drug Eggs is checking out for awhile. I feel sweats,chills,aches.. Ok I’m embellishing but I’m almost 40 so I am more achy these days.

I’m so going to miss my Eggie-fix and it truly makes me sad that the person who makes me laugh out loud every time is having a rough time right now. I’m praying (and this Jodie prays, no hexes from this Jod-ster promise) that everything goes ok for you Egg. Sending positive vibes your way. Hurry back Egg-o, writing is good for the soul–but you know that πŸ™‚

Jodi (I’m a lil relieved that devil spawn at least spells her name different then I do..though I was very dismayed to hear her revelation that in highschool she spelled it Jodie because she thought it was “cool”. Your NOT cool Stabby, you are batshit crazy and evil as the devil but cool? Hell no!

Today was the day that left my stomach in knots. Just listening to Juan describe the murder was overwhelmingly emotional. I read the intro to Travis’ book “Raising You” that he never got to complete. In it he describes his mother beating him and that he recalled the words his grandpa used to tell him as he hugged him, squeezed him goodbye on those rare occasions his mother straightened out long enough to visit. “Your special Travis” and he’d say it with such conviction that Travis knew his grandpa truly meant it. Later when Travis was being beaten by his mother he’d think “this woman is crazy..she doesn’t know I’m special!” He clinger to that positive thing his grandpa told him, believed it, rose above all the hell he endured as a child and went on to help other people. He helped me. I can honestly say that when I read the intro to his book something in me awoke. I have my own stories of a sad upbringing. There are many wounds. I lost my mother at 47 when her system shut down after a lifetime of alcoholism and pain killer addiction. After my mom died 5 years ago I basically died that day too. I know it’s cliche that people say a part of them died when they lose someone they love but for me it was real. My mom, despite her problems was loving and no matter what I ALWAYS knew I was loved so much by her. We were close and I just could never get over her death. I began my own slow downward spiral. I gave up on life because I could not deal with the pain of losing her. When I read Travis book intro it dawned on me. There is proof that people “like me” who’d endured some awful stuff could really rise above and do well in life. Travis had it much worse then I ever did. If he could get past those horrible things and not only survive but THRIVE, well maybe I could too. No, I had no right to give up on life. This man who had endured hell on earth turned his life into something amazing and special. He exerted such a bright, powerful life force that demon Arias clung on like a parasite and attempted to fill the vast emptiness inside her with Travis’ amazing energy and spirit. When he’d had enough of her wicked ways he tried to pry the parasite free but she instead stabbed the amazing, bright and powerful spirit out of him. Because she’s a demon in human form. She’s the polar opposite of Travis and when she knew he had grown wise to her evil she showed him how right he was about her. She’s got to pay for what she took from his family, friends and all the people he helped and would have helped. She stole a precious gift from God..a special soul..and she WILL pay for it. The universe will balance itself. It always does. I’m praying that the family can heal. Can overcome and rise above like Travis did. He’d want them to for sure, I just hope they can. I hope they remember his words and can know that their brother is a shining star in Heaven.

    I hope

I think the Alexander family did Travis’s memory justice today… Showed him to be the person that was loved and honored by his family.
I believe that will stick with people more than any lies that were being told about him.

Death is not natural, that is why we mourn…regardless of how it happens..its just not
      meant to be.

We can all look forward to the time when death WILL be done away with, and heartaches that are suffered by mankind will not even be brought to mind….

Absolutely profound and touching moonshyne. Don’t give up on yourself! How awesome that even in death, Travis Alexander continues to touch people’s lives in such a great and positive way. I wish you all the best. I wish JA all the worst, which she deserves.

  28. Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 6:53 am

    …and while we are waiting…
What happened to the gas cans and more importantly to the gas? Do you think she spent some time in Travis’ home collecting things she didn’t want others to find…papers, photos, bloody items, then she drove somewhere in the desert and had a bonfire? I always assumed she pitched the knife and gun in some innocuous place like the trash can or dumpster outside a business which has long ago gone to a landfill.
The other creepy thing is that when she was arrested she had a 9 mm gun and knives. She said the gun was for a camping trip with men that she invited herself to go on. (I don’t believe that.) and I’m wondering if she had a hit list of others who have wronged her. In Chris Stark’s twitter stream he thinks Chris Hughes would have been next.

Sorry to get morbid. (We need Eggy back!) I’m sure Carol will be on deck later.

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 9:01 am

The gun buying and the camping trip freaks me out too Sully. Apparently they were guys who worked at the same restaurant as she did and she was the only female going. She said she bought the gun to “feel safe” while going on the trip. Why would you bother going then? I personally feel she got a huge high out of what she did to Travis and was craving it again…I mean really, guns and knives again? Brrrrrrr, shivers down my spine!

  29. Good Judgment Day!
Beth said this morning that Darryl Brewer is expected to speak. Here’s my problem with him – He also testilied. The gas cans wasn’t borrowed, they were traded. Here’s my prove. Stabby testilied (with so much unnecessary details since she never seem to be able to STFU) that when she “borrowed” the gas cans from the old guy, she drove off with his remote control so she had to turn around to return it. Now, what remote? How did it get in her car? Ah ha! She took the VCR that she stole from her grandparents (you know, she stole it along with the .25 in the police report?) and took it to the old guy to trade for the gas cans. Then she forgot to give him the remote, too, so she had to turn around. That’s why he wasn’t expecting them back!
If I got it, I wonder if the jury got it. They have to! They are so awesomely smart!

  30. AND Beth Karas tweeted this morning – The defense attorneys moved to withdraw from the case after the guilty verdict. The judge denied it. We do not know the basis for the defense motion.

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 9:03 am

The basis was probably “Our client is bat sh!t crazy!!!”.

      • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 9:34 am

LOL, Ria! I’m trying to figure out how to turn that phrase in to legalese. “Your Honor, we respectfully request to be removed from counsel due to divergent counsel/client interests.”
Honestly, how can you present mitigation (which I assume means mitigating factors to PREVENT your client from being put to death) when your CLIENT goes on the record (TV interview) that she wants death?

      • Nurmi has been trying to get out of defending her for years, and just can’t seem to pull it off…This is the guy who defends sex offenders and child molesters…and she creeps HIM out? YIKES! I can’t figure out Wilma, she seemed all “GO team Jodi!”, until she was convicted…what changed her mind?

  32. Court at 1:30 Eastern today! bbl πŸ™‚

  33. Good morning Carol,
I don’t think LV is going to be there. The court minutes was dated 5/15/2012 not 2013 (so not yesterday). it was last year, so after her proverbial career suicide on the stand, I highly doubt that the defense would still bring her.

  34. Thank you all so much for confirming my faith in the (sometimes) wisdom of the regular/iregular people! I found this late in the trial, but this is funnier than all the late night shows rolled into one! Eggy, I hope your humor sees you through like it does us. Carol, you do Eggy and us proud! I’m a Law And Order junkie, but like the song says, “ain’t nothin like the real thing baby!” Maybe you are like me, frustrated by the lack of justice in this world too often. These moments give us strength, and many ha-has. I’ll be around, I am a guy from CT with a radio show, but that’s a story for another time. I have to miss court today, hopefully it will be another parade of fools. And to think that in the hospital, my pain pump was full of morphine, next time it will be, “adrenaline, please!” have a great day, sisters and brothers, terry

Her attorneys actually tried to withdraw from the case on Tuesday because her statement after sentencing complicated efforts for the defense. I bet it did; what a job to try to defend that woman! She is guilty and has no likability whatsoever with the jury, and she mouths off every chance she gets with every lame reporter who will stick a mike in her face. I almost feel sorry for the big slug and the over the hill cheerleader; they really have their work cut out for them. Do you still like Jodi one day out of ten Nurmi? I bet not!

  37. OK, off to work soon. Stabby’s atty’s wanting off, Stabby got a virtual sock stuffed in her mouth, now we’ll see what Stabby’s made of: Will she either ask for the DP like she maintains she wants? OR will she writhe and beg for her life? OR will she just STFU. Stabby’s so confused she just doesn’t know where to go with her mouth. I so hope Stabby soon goes quietly into the night. I hope for the DP (which I don’t agree with) just to get her into a cell and cut off from her attention seeking behavior.

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 9:39 am

I’ve *heard*, and I use that word lightly because so much of it turns out to be misinformation, but…if you get LWOP you have to pay for your own appeals, whereas if you get DP, the state pays for it. So I do believe Stabby wanted DP and who knows how many liberties she’ll get while “working” on her appeals. She knows she’s got years before they put her to death and she’ll busy herself making up a new story for next time. She’ll put Donovan to work, via secret messages sent to her mom, on wrangling up some photo shopped photo’s of Travis doing bad things and fake letters. Nothing appears to phase this shell of a woman! How they even let that Donovan in the court room is beyond me!

I heard the same thing, Ria, re: paying for appeals. We must be tuned into the same Bat channel!

          Wow…not happy to hear that.
If ever there was a parasite who should be banned from “getting assistance” for *anything*..it is this murdering freak.

        • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 10:08 am

Jodi’s no dummy, she’s evil but she’s no dummy. I think the whole “I want the DP” was what she really wanted, but it messed with all of our minds b/c we thought okay, she really doesn’t want it so let’s hope she gets it…she pulled a fast one on us because I do believe she wants it. Of course, our opinions mean nothing but I do believe it is MUCH harder to get all the endless appeals with LWOP as it is with DP. She doesn’t want anything other than what is going to serve HER, and she does not want to die. In no way, does she want to die. She wants the result that’s going to serve her selfish, non remorseful wants.

  39. Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 9:43 am

I just don’t see Stabby apologizing even if it meant sparing her life. She would have to do such a fast 360, it would straighten out that bent finger.

  40. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 9:55 am

Chores are done, laptop is fired up, HLN is on…I’m ready. Stabby please don’t get a migraine today.

  41. Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 10:06 am

Wouldn’t it be great if after 4 plus months of having to sit literally shoulder to shoulder, sharing notes and whispers and matching colors, to see Perky Cheerleader turn to Stabby and say, “Your art stinks, your journals are lame, your breath is rank and I never liked you either.”

  42. Posted by Potatoes Browning on May 16, 2013 at 10:12 am

Well Tuesday Jodi girl tried to fire her lawyers .Im wondering if during the penalty phase Jodi will be allowed to act Pro Se during the penalty phase with wilma and the lawn gnome acting as advisors. This would be classic jodi the drama queen that made Mesa famous. Just a though wort considering.A shout out to Eggy to be reading your spiffy remarks again very soon sprightly comments again very soon!

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 10:49 am

Is Pro Se defending herself? OMG, that would be a must see!

    • Posted by Polk8dot on May 17, 2013 at 10:22 pm

According to the Arias Case Record on the Maricopa County Superior Court’s site, there have been no new motions filed regarding representation. The last one was the Tuesday motion for Relief of Counsel, which has already been denied, as we all know.

True, the Stabby Ho Demon can still file a motion to that effect during the weekend or even Monday morning (which would AGAIN result in a ‘no-court day’, so she better not dare do that to us!!!).
Honestly, even if she did try such a gimmick, that’s exactly what the Judge would treat it as. At this late a stage there is NO WAY any Judge would risk giving rise to ANY potential basis for appeals. And allowing Stabby to represent herself would be tantamount to automatic ‘insufficient counsel’ claim for reversal of the verdict.
BTW, ‘Pro Se’ is Latin and means ‘For Oneself’. Thus ‘Counsel Pro Se’ or just ‘Pro Se’ means to represent oneself in a legal action.

Oh, Eggy, where art thou????? I miss your wit and smarts and snark so bloody much. ;(
Your blog by itself has made my daily life better, and along with all the fantastic comments, it restored my faith in the intelligence and decency of human kind.
I hope your troubles are vacating your path, and the love and support we all feel for you and send to you will light your way back into the fold.
TAKE CARE OF YOU. Everything else is secondary.

  44. Hello all Peeps! (small Egg joke, tee hee)
Just getting set up here, coffee, bar and Kleenex for us all for another afternoon of widening our butts and conversing.
Yesterday, I found this live feed for non stop commercial free watching if you’re doing the split screen thing. I hope they forgive me for giving out their link.

The ABC15 AZ live feed has breaks that need to be refreshed. Naaahhh.
I didn’t hear back from Egg yet, don’t expect to, she’s busy with her fam.
    bbl

  45. HLN just said the Sherry was in back with the defense lawyers. They don’t want to play this game any more. HA! Can’t blame ’em one bit! So, I guess court is late as per usual AGAIN today…..

    • Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 10:46 am

I think at this 12th hour Perky and Bluto are only concerned with their own reputations going forward, and wanted to be on record that they tried to distance themselves from Stabby Einstein.

Major “cover their ass” move on their part !!

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 10:46 am

I feel NO sympathy for Slurmi Nurmi and the Homecoming Queen contender. They were fine when they were up there trashing Travis and calling him a pedophile. But now they now how despised Stabby is, they’re trying to get out of it? Oh please, they knew she was a guilty, lying pig when they took her on. I say make them see it out until the end.

      • Eggxactly Ria! I wonder if they are getting any death threats too? They don’t need the $300.00 an hour I guess either. Pigs.

        • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 10:53 am

They’re trying to save face. If everyone knows they’re trying to get out of it, it puts them in a more favorable light.

      • Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 11:39 am

MAJOR “Cover Your Ass” for Perky and Bluto !!!!

They are concerned now about their reputatons moving forward.
Both for their own bizzare behaviors during the trial and for not wanting to be associated with Stabby forever.

      • Posted by Leftcoast granny on May 16, 2013 at 11:54 am

Every now and then my conspiracy theories sneak in. Could all these theatrics, starting with the post-verdict interview and now the request by Nurmi and Wilma to withdraw, be attempt for Stabby to get a new trial on the grounds of ineffective assistance of counsel?

        • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 12:37 pm

I’ve wondered that too LC Granny. Like there’s some set up going on to where Stabby can say they disliked her and wanted to quit. After everything that’s gone on in this trial, it’s hard not have a conspiracy theory!

        • Probably, wouldn’t doubt that at all!

    • Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 11:01 am

Harpy and Heavy D remind me of how when I was young, there was ALWAYS that ONE KID that would pick up his toys and walk away if they lost, or didn’t get their way. The “sensitive” ones usually had the best toys, too…. but NOT IN THIS CASE!!

  46. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 10:49 am

I FINALLY figured out why I wasn’t seeing the new posts…I was refreshing after I clicked on the comments link, so I was only refreshing the comments for the particular post I was on. Duuuuuuh I’m a dumb*ss. (but at least I figured it out!)

Think Stabby will throw herself on her stubby pencil, and beg for mer…. πŸ™‚ LOL NOPE!, I couldn’t do it with a straight face!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  47. Let’s just have her slip and break her neck on the way into court and bypass all this sorrow from the fam today.

  48. Those on HLN have been critical of DT trying to “abandon” Jodi at this late date. If I had a client like Jodi, I would want to quit too. In fact, I would not want to take the case. As much as I dislike what the defense strategy was and the way they portrayed Travis, I think they did the best they could. I am grateful we live In a country where everyone is innocent until proven guilty. And for that, everyone has to have an attorney. Sooooo I would like to thank Heavy D and Wilma for doing this as I could not. Having said that, our system has found her guilty and she deserves the DP. Didn’t mean to be so serious, we need Egg’ie back soon! Hope things are going well for you. Miss you!

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 11:10 am

It’s hard not to feel passionately about this case on all levels Reba, it’s drawn so many of us in and brought out a lot of emotions. But I agree, we live in the BEST country in the world, and I say this as someone who was not born here but would never live in any other country:)

  49. Hi Carol! Well the egg-house isn’t too badly messed up – we tried to sweep up the eggshells! As chief egg-beater as long as it’s an eggs-trodinary day we will all be good peeps! Can’t blame Nurmi and Jenny – their “scrambled” client makes it hard to keep her sunny side up except by miracles like asking questions from the dead ala Dr. DeMarte? or asking Dr. Horne if any pain is felt after death..

Thx for the new website too – Cheers! πŸ˜‰

(Imagine yourself after 10 yrs on Death Row, Stabby. Or 20 years into a “natural life” prison sentence. Yup, PRISON. (no more cushy “jail” for your Stabby *ss!)

Let’s get this party started!! LOL πŸ™‚

    • … the bar closed? I didn’t get that memo, oops!
Nurmi tried 3 or 4 times while still in the employment of Maricopa county to not be Jodi’s attorney. Denied each time. He resigned the county and again filed to get out of this, denied!
Jodi and Jodi’s mother wrote letters to Judge Stevens requesting Nurmi to stay on her case years ago.
This man has tried for years before trial began to not be involved.
Not saying I like the man, but ….

      • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 12:41 pm

Yes, he did try to get out of it but, he took her on in the first place and he got stuck with her. I’m sure he knew what a losing battle it was. He’s looked like he’s not wanted to be there for most of this trial IMO, he’s kept his chair turned away from Stabby.

      • Posted by Polk8dot on May 18, 2013 at 6:58 am

I had the same reaction as you upon hearing of his ‘attempts to remove as counsel’, i.e.” Poor guy, he got stuck with this bit*h” and had no choice.
Then I read an article where they talked about this in depth. Seemed like all the commenters, too, were aware of those facts, and that’s why it stuck with me.
        Here is the story:
        1. Stabby was initially assigned a Public Defender – PD. But you know regual PD are for sissies and ‘dumb losers’ not for Stabby Einstein!
        2. Under AZ law, if you ‘conflict’ with your PD, you can ask to have them replaced. She did – she FIRED them.
        3. She got another PD, and again quickly ‘conflicted out’ and FIRED that one.
        4. AZ law states that after 2 PDs, the state has to go outside of the PD office (it is actually really convoluted, there are several different organisations that basically provide PD services without it being actually called PD).
        5. So the ball fell in Smarmy Wormy’s lap. He took the case with no protests initially. After several months, KABOOM! 1st request for release. Stabby immediately got out her crayons, and draw the Judge a pretty picture of ‘Wormy an Me’ explaining that he was INSTRUMENTAL to her defense and her right to fair trial. Talk about jailhouse lawyer education.
        6. After the denied request, Stabby then turned and tried to FIRE him, demanding to represent herself (a ploy to establish future grounds for appeal plus a delaying tactic). The Judge said NO!
        7. Nurmi stayed on. He asked 2 or 3 more times to be releaved, each time Stabby jumping on the horn to the Judge and crying about her ‘constitutional rights’ which apparently trump Wormy’s rights, go figure.
        8. In the meantime there were a slew of second chairs that came and went, because when Stabby ‘NOT LIKEY’, you are out!
        9. Wilma signed on in 2010.

I know – poor Wormi, right? Trying soooooooo f-ing hard to dump the demon?
NOT REALLY! Some web sleuths followed the breadcrumb trail and found that EACH SINGLE TIME Wormy ‘threatened to quit’, the state threw MORE MONEY at him. He originally started like all PDs in death penalty cases – $125 /hour.
Because of HIS tantrums, he eventually got to double that, $250 /hour. Poor Wilma apparently did not know that until the ‘defense costs’ became know at trial time. Her rate never changed from the initial $125 /hour.

So maybe he really did not like to work with the demon, maybe he wanted to get off, but according to the research done on him, he figured very early on how to suck the system and drain AZ tax payers to the max. So he is not only a DUMB A-HOLE who could not get out of defending Stabby (kind of like that old joke about the jury members…), but he’s also a mercenary POS who’ll do say and do anything for a buck, including murdering the VICTIM the second time.

Here is a head scratcher: the ‘Mitigation Specialist’, who is NOT even a lawyer, was assigned to the case right away. She stayed on the whole time, sucking the money out of the system the whole time. All for what??? So that Stabby can in the end PUT ON 2 (two!!!!!) CHARACTER WITNESSES??? Wow, she did a heck of a job, that one! In almost 5 years she was able to find 2 (TWO!!!!!) people on the planet willing to testify FOR STABBY!
I am going to try to find out how much that woman made over the years. Seems like an awesome racket, doesn’t it?

  64. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 11:17 am

Looks like Stabby got to Nurmi’s tie with her crayons.

  65. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 11:18 am

I swear I hears the judge say that “drawing is prohibited”, but it was part of a broader sentence. If these weren’t prewritten instructions, I’d say Judge Sherry put that in on purpose. Got my attention though.

I guess it’s safe to take a potty break.

  83. Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 11:46 am

supposed to be just a 5 min break.. I hope the family gets to go first…. ughhhh i’m nervous for them!

  84. ummm why was 3 hole wonder left off the mitigating factor list???

  85. Jessi from Wild About Trial (she’s at the courthouse) said that Stephen Alexander will be up first, and that they are just waiting for the judge and jury to return. We’re still on!

  86. The wicca grabs a Kleenex, please……

  87. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 11:51 am

Oh gosh, I need my tissues:( I know I’m going to cry when Travis’ family gets up there.

  88. Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 11:52 am

uggghhhh this is going to be rough

  89. I hope she’s writing her last will and testament.

  90. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 11:54 am

I have NEVER seen a trial with more frivolous objections, but I’ve also never seen a trial where there were objections during the opening and/or closing arguments!! (& like lots of you, I’ve seen and read about quite a few trials) It almost seems a game with Heavy D, though. There’s frustration and animosity THICK in his voice.

  91. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 11:55 am

& once again, COMCAST NEWSMAKERS UGHHHHHHHHHH

  92. Why is SHE crying? Bitch

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 11:58 am

She’s not even shedding a tear, she’s putting on her seductive sad face…she’s disgusting.

  93. Is he the only brother?

  94. Yes. Three sisters, one brother. 😦 So heartbreaking

  95. Stabby looks like she’s got two bowling balls stuffed in both sides of her jaw today…she must be heavily medicated, cuz her black eyes are meegting in the middle.
I’m saving a really nice bottle of tequila to share after we hear the victim impact statements!

Go Juanderful! Shut up Heavy D…shove your objections.

  96. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 12:06 pm

Ohhhhh, Samantha’s turn. Extra tissues needed!

  97. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 12:08 pm

I am SO glad the camera’s on the family, and not on FAKE sobbing Stabby.

  98. I didn’t know the Granma died….

  99. jenni, did you get the connection straightened out?

  100. This is so sad……

  101. HOW COULD SHE HAVE DONE THAT?!!!

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 12:24 pm

The worst part is she won’t ‘fess up and speak the truth. Some of the most notorious killers in history have opened up and confessed everything. But not Stabby, she’s going to lie to the bitter end…forget everyone else’s feelings. She wants to be back out to fulfill her own sick agenda.

  102. OMGosh…that was heartbreaking. Poor family.

  103. Posted by Marnie Paige on May 16, 2013 at 12:24 pm

What powerful words from those two young people and such a tribute to their brother.

  104. Is this a 45 min lunch?

  105. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 12:25 pm

So sick of these commercials, got out the laptop, but watched Stephen on TV because I.D already missed the beginning of Samantha’s, now have to wait for HLN to show it. GRRRR

Wow, Stephen has a lot of anger, and rightly so…but it could kill him, health-wise.

  106. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 12:26 pm

til 2pm local time, 90 min.

    Bowed head….
    Bless them all…..

  109. Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 12:28 pm

ughhhhh that was soooo brutal! My eyes are swollen,.. head stuffed up…

Does the family get a chance to say anything directly to her…like how much they resent what she did, and the way she tried to drag him thru the mud?

  110. Wow, I have no words… I’ll be back in a little while. Be good Peeps!

  111. I think the Caylee Daily just crashed. 😦

  112. Break out the kleenex Carol – I never knew any of the Alexander family and I am weeping – I have a younger brother who I love and almost lost due to his health issues and cannot even imagine how heartbroken this family is by their never ending loss.
Truly my interest in this trial has been so intense that night after night after my prayers I would lay and try to imagine just how that wicked creature could even commit such a horrendous crime and it was beyond my comprehension how it could even be done –

This family has waited long and patiently for justice for their beloved brother – it is obvious from the statements of the two siblings that they have the mission of service to others through service in the army and as a police officer –

Truly as you screamed “How could she have done that?” There is no rational answer except that she is truly a demon.

    • Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 12:49 pm

I had no idea that he was in the army and she was a police officer.

I can’t believe how well they were able to put their thoughts into words, and to express themselves despite the heaviness in their hearts.

Now how ridiculous will the defense and their witnesses look after this testimony…

  113. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 12:47 pm

Ok, is my computer going batty or is JM making a rap song out of Stephen’s impact statement? I’m confused.

  114. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 12:49 pm

Never mind, I think Wild about Trial is doing it. Hello, have more beer!

    • Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 12:51 pm

Where pray tell do you see that?? lol I wish I could have a beer about now… I have one more appt. for the day… tick tock!!!

      • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 1:01 pm

It’s the Wild about Trial live stream, since they’re on break they’re doing this weird thing with the impact statements. I’ve never taken acid but it sounds like what I’d imagine an acid trip to be like.

      • Ria you are right – I’m going to start the libations early today – must be sundown somewhere – so today it will be a Pinot Grigio – so refreshing when its icy cold –
I often watch the live trial on Mediaite -today they seem to be re-posting.

        • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 1:13 pm

peony, I think Mediaite does the same stream as Wild about Trial. It’s almost 4:15 where I am, I know AZ doesn’t do daylight savings so I’m always confused about the time there. I’m guessing they’re on lunch til 5 my time.

          • Ria, we are 3 hours behind you going by the time you posted here. Are we the only state who don’t do daylight savings? It must be hard for you all to watch when they go late.

        • Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 1:17 pm

          Instead of “Must be sundown somewhere” I like to say… “It’s 8 a.m. somewhere!” πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

  115. Yup Ria – I checked -seems it’s the same – so my time is 2:15 so I’d guess 3 p.m. my time they should be back – See ya then!

  116. Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 1:17 pm

  118. Hi Peeps, funny story while we’re waiting.. I had a real live chicken on my front lawn most of Sat. I thought I was seeing things. I fed it and gave it water, real cute, friendly, Big! I called a lot of neighbors and asked; “do you have a chicken missing’? They all laughed. The one guy took it over to another guy’s house and they called the next day and thanked me for the return of ‘Sally’. You just don’t see that every day. aww, isn’t that cute?

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 1:39 pm

That is a cute story! She knew where to come for some love:)

    • Ha ha ha…That is so funny! Did Sally leave you an egg?

    • LOL…..Sally knew where the EggTree sub station was huh? That is funny! I used to raise about 3 dz. chickens at one time – lots of work but what great eggs those free range hens gave.

Didn’t hear back from Egg yet, don’t expect to today. FYI.

  125. Egg substitutes taste great, each morning with browned onions & tomatoes, so I’m good here.
Why was Stabby crying during siblings impact statement’s? WTH she have to cry about?

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm

She’s crying because she just found out Stephen and his wife are separated and she’s not available to be his new wife…that pesky life behind bars thing is holding her back.

  126. AZ Central is up but can’t tell if it’s live or past. JM is up and they just went into sidebar. Anyone getting a feed besides me? or am I too drunk too?

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 1:58 pm

It will totally mess with you beahaive, that’s what was freaking me out earlier. It kept rewinding and then doing a weird double play thing.

      • OH! That’s what you meant by the JM rap. I thought it was just Wild About Trial…AZ Central is just a tad behind them! LOL I guess the wine isn’t as good as I thought! LOL

    • Ok…it must be past, because it just went into fast forward high pitched squeaks for sound and all…either that, or this is the best wine EVER!!

      • What kind of wine bea? I’l buy a case. πŸ˜‰

      • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:02 pm

I thought I’d ingested acid somehow when I heard it. Wild about Trial uses the same feed as AZ central.

        • Drugs?! On this blog?!
          Remember, sharing is caring. πŸ˜‰

        • Posted by Polk8dot on May 18, 2013 at 8:24 am

Actually, everybody gets the same feed. TruTV’s ‘In Session’ submitted a motion before trial to have their cameras allowed in the courtroom. They are part of the same company (TimeWarner?) as HLN. They tape the proceedings, and disburse the live stream to any and all who want to broadcast it.
The funny thing is, even though it is ‘their’ feed, the live streaming on the web is much closer to the real time – just 1-2 seconds delay. The TV streaming is about 6-10 seconds behind, just in case some sh*t goes down and they need the time to black it out and/or bleep it for the viewers.
(I think about 6 months before Stabby Einstein’s trial started, there was another trial being televized from AZ. The male defendant was found Guilty, and immediately after the verdict, right in full view of the whole Jury, the Judge and the court watchers, on LIVE TV, he swallowed a Cyanide pill and died on the spot.)

  127. I just picked a whole bunch of lilacs. Yum. I will give them to Egg.
    Ok, ready? Here we go!

  128. Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 2:01 pm

Just finished watching the impact statements. Wow. They did what an impact statement is supposed to do. And it will be interesting to compare that to witnesses supporting his murderer.
On a side note, you can see the mitigator in the courtroom behind the siblings as they gave their statement. (Just the way the camera was angled.) And she picked up that darn styrofoam cup at least 4 times to take a drink. And otherwise sat stonefaced. Would it be too much bother, madam, to sit still until the few minutes of statements are done? Ever since I’ve started noticing the distracting clothing she wears in the courtroom, it’s been bugging me. (Sorry, just a minor peeve.)

    • Yes, Sully, I did see that too. I don’t miss much. πŸ˜‰ And, why, why don’t they make the wicca stand up when being sentenced or anything? grrrrrr

      • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 2:15 pm

She wore a red ruffled thing one day (in a sea of dark and muted colors in the courtroom) that just screamed “Look at me! Look at me!”

    • You mean that humongous cross she is wearing around her neck? That’s more than an accessory…it’s protection against the life sucking vampire in front of her!

    • Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 2:13 pm

I think Stabby had to scrape the bottom of the barrel in all area’s here. Her attorney’s were way out of their league, the defense witnesses were laughable and that mitigation expert is so unprofessional. She laughed out loud when ALV asked JM if he was angry at her.

      • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 2:16 pm

Yeppers, that’s the way to mitigate and ingratiate yourself with the jury. Yessirree!

  129. Posted by Cindy Lou on May 16, 2013 at 2:05 pm

Alexanders’ you did your brother proud this day. I don’t give a rat’s azz what JC said the jury did or didn’t do. The closest thing to holy that court room is ever going hear happened today.

  130. come on, come on, while we’re young….. geez

  131. Posted by Barb on May 16, 2013 at 2:05 pm

Did anyone else see what I htought I saw from Jodi? As Samantha Alexander returned to her seat after her impact statement, I would swear that the demon made the throat slash movement again! Either that or she has a funny way of wiping the fake tears that run down under her chin!

    • Wow, Barb, good catch! We’ll prob see that on NG tonight! cool…

      • I saw that, but just before, I saw a tear fall on her black shirt on her chest. Tears rolling off her chin and down her neck….tears for herself.

    • On HLN, they said that Sam gave the wicca a real dirty look when leaving the podium and another one to the Mother. Good for her damnit!

      • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 2:20 pm

The entire Alexander family has exhibited great restraint. I can’t say I would have.

        • Posted by GBPL *its 8 a.m. somewhere!* on May 16, 2013 at 2:41 pm

My husband said the same thing… Only that he added if she had done that to one of our sons…there would be no way he could stop himself from jumping on her and attacking her as fast as he could before getting hauled off to jail.

After hearing all what they’ve been thru… (which no one can even begin to imagine) I’m shocked that not even as much as an eyeroll has went
          to her direction…

thats the distinction between class (pros and Alexander family) and trash…
demon , defense and demo family….

I just can’t imagine how Velma and Numnum’s sleep at night… I really want to hear what they have to say for themselves when this is all said and done.

    • What a freak…I guess there is no end to the depths of evil encompassed in one woman…And I agree, Carol, GOOD FOR HER!

      • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 2:21 pm

I noticed the “throat slash” movement, too, and I thought she was going to wipe her eye. It just looked really odd.

  135. Where’d everyone go? 😦 I don’t have anyone to play with….

  136. Posted by Marnie Paige on May 16, 2013 at 2:22 pm

I wish someone would tell me exactly what the “mitigation specialist” has actually done.

    • Posted by Sully on May 16, 2013 at 2:23 pm

Other than wear inappropriate clothing, large jewelry and swiggin out of a styrofoam cup during victim impact statements…ummm…I got nuttin’

    • Wisegeek.com says, “The mitigation specialist plays a crucial role for the legal defense team, in particular during capital cases. Throughout the legal proceedings, he or she will provide defense attorneys with professional analysis related to the case, investigative information that impacts the case, key evidence, and experts to testify regarding mitigating circumstances presented in the case. Providing both supportive evidence and a detailed, documented history of the defendant, he or she holds the responsibility for the preparation and presentation of this information during trial and during the sentencing phase.

Working with the defense team to develop a comprehensive defense during trial, a mitigation specialist will seek to uncover as much background information as possible regarding the defendant’s background. Objectively, he or she seeks to use the information uncovered to inform the jury and make recommendations to the court during the sentencing phase. Interview and investigative skills are crucial to the job. A mitigation specialist will spend much of his or her time tracking down family members, professionals and all other individuals associated with the defendant as well as conducting extensive interviews with the individuals in order to build a profile of the defendant.”

Think this mitigation specialist will be looking for a new job?

      • Bea, in other words, nothing. They had nothing and they are nothing.
There’s probably a strip joint that would hire her. πŸ˜‰

        • Posted by MaRiley on May 16, 2013 at 2:57 pm

In other words, the Mitigation Specialist is just another ambulance chasing attorney whose job it is to come up with plausible sounding bullchit to excuse butchery and character assassination. And, yes. What an inappropriately dressed cow. Whenever I see women with crazy big crosses around their neck, it doesn’t look wholesome to me. Enter….Madonna.

    • She holds hands with the wicca, rubs her back, drinks plenty of water or whatever is in her fricking cup and layers on mega amounts of makeup. Oh, I thinks she brings in the crappy clothes for the wicca to wear too.

Okay, I have to say, if and when revisionist history happens on the stand to portray Stabby as Mother Teresa Jr., I am going to take a break. Just heard that a childhood friend is set to testify about abuse. Sigh.
Now, if the convicted-but-not-yet-sentenced-murderer is planning to exhibit remorse, contrition, apologize to the surviving siblings and offer a plan for personal rehabilitation and redemption…

  140. HLN just said JA is in chambers w/one of the witnesses…I wonder if one is backing out?

    Eggie is psychic.

In the May 12 blog β€œThe Oracular Egg: Predictions for the Arias Trial,” Eggie predicted:

The demon would testify as her own character witness and sell her artwork to the jury.

In his opening statement, Nurmi said the demon will talk to the jury about her life and show them her artwork.

It’s always all about her. She thinks the jury cares about her artwork?

The jurors are only concerned about the demon’s handiwork on June 4, 2008 when she stabbed Travis Alexander 29 times, slit his throat and put a bullet in his head and stuffed his dead body in his own shower.

  145. While our hard drives burn up to a cinder…….. and our arses widen…….

  146. Okay, I’m back…had to mow the back forty or buy some sheep. I’ve requested that when folks come to visit… please refrain from the urge to put their name or the date in the dust around here…
Tequila shot for everyone…!!! Those VIS were authentically heartbreaking. *sob…
The TH are saying that Heavy D has pretty much thrown in the towel and is putting the monkey on Jodi’s back to defend herself in this phasefwhen she takes the stand. It would behoove Stabby to beg this jury for her life and show genuine remorse. I doubt it though…she hasn’t got an authentic bone in her body…and will keep up the facade of DV. The jury already doesn’t buy that, so she’s gonna dig her own grave.
    Cheers! *hic
    Carol Eggbeater…lol…love the new handle!

  147. Per Robin Landis, “Bailiff Valerie just announced #jodiaarias Death Penalty case will resume in 30 minutes — attys meeting in Judge’s chambers”

    • phhhhtttt, ya right. HA! Thanks bea. WTH are they doing back there, playing strip poker?

      • I think Stabby has is chanting her wicca voodoo over the judge and attorneys in a last stitch effort to save her worthless a$$, now that she sees that even Perky doesn’t want anything to do with her…if that doesn’t work, she’s going to grab the letter opener from Judge S’s desk and wreak havoc on the courtroom…BUT she forgot the sheriff who has the button with 7 million volts of electricity attached to the harness she wears under her blouse. The sheriff pushes the button and down she goes…now there is no more need for court, because the demon has been sent back to hell! …Sorry, I strayed off into a fantasy there!

  148. Carol – sub- Eggie and bar keep – seems we will have to wait another 30 minutes or so says my twitter account – so I will have yet another Pinot Grigio please!

  149. Wow – apparently Nurmi just walked out the front door of the court – has he finally got his freedom walk?

  150. Yup…..he was escorted back in – seems Stabby’s pot growing buddy now doesn’t want to be seen on TV when she testifies for Stabby so we will hear testimony but not see her face. Quite the endorsement huh?

    • He was trying to escape after Judge S denied his plea to be removed from the case…Heading for Mexico to open a bar and a Kentucky Fired Chicken Franchise!

  151. Posted by Barb on May 16, 2013 at 3:05 pm

They just said on HLN that the childhood friend is in chambers with the judge requesting her face not be shown either when she takes the stand. Some friends she has. Darryl wants his face hidden as well. If they want to put in a good word for satan’s daughter they can at least do it with a smile we can all see!

    • Ok, great, I can’t read the tweets here. Hide her face, why?? She was all over NG that one night, who gives a rat’s ass? And Darryl, man up you creep..

    • Posted by pfenix on May 16, 2013 at 9:45 pm

If you want to testify, put up or shut up. That childhood friend showed her picture and face on Nancy Grace. Darryl is no man of worth.

    Well hellsbells…duty calls.. I have a color..will take about 2 hrs.

Soooo i’ll try to catch up!.. If a new thread starts..someone please come back and get me!!!! HA!!!

  153. Wow another closed hearing and the room clears out – Stabby apparently has only one close friend “Pot Head Patty” so the buzz is that the defense wants to preview something before the jury sees or hears it –

  154. Ha! Ha! Ha! Stabby’s family members are not prepared to stand and defend her but “booty call drunk Darryl” and “Pothead Patty” will testify but neither wants their faces shown …..that really says something about her.

***jenn raises her hand**** I have a (stupid) question…who’s “the wiccan”?

    • jenni, JoDie was a Wicca (satan worshiper) when she lived in CA. They didn’t want her either.

heeehee maybe I shouldn’t be attempting such a difficult activity like reading.right now, apparently my brain can’t take it. (Heavy D’s voice is much more tolerable, however πŸ™‚ )

      • Posted by pfenix on May 16, 2013 at 9:51 pm

True Wiccan’s are NOT Satan worshipers, please know that. Yes, Satan’s minion do call themselves witches. Wiccan is a ancient pagan religion. There are those who practice white and black wiccan magic. It’s one of those things that JoDie dabbled in cuz it sounded cool or to manipulate. Just like practicing Buddhism or getting baptized in the Mormon Church to get and keep a man.

  156. Pothead Patty just moved a little closer to the courtroom…she’s outta chambers and in the little conference room next to the courtroom! That must be some good pot, Egg-beater-sub-bar-keep, if they all lost their way!

  157. I’m still friends with women I worked with years ago in a restaurant, in that type of work you make & keep friends sooooo where are Jodi’s friends?
    I’ve always wondered about that.

  171. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 3:40 pm

Well, let’s look at the bright side…we have something to ponder over the next 3 days.

  172. Posted by De-Edifying watcher on May 16, 2013 at 3:41 pm

I can’t seem to get a post posted if the thread count goes over 250.
    Very Frustrating !!!
If by some chance this makes it…..
To have this day adjurned early AGAIN for some mysterious reason (called: Stabby wants to tweak the process)…to have this happen AGAIN is just WRONG !!
Anything/any ploy to take the impact out of Steven and Sammantha’s statements and let it ride until Monday.
    SO pissed !!!!

  173. 6:06 p.m. ET: HLN’s producer at the courthouse says everyone has been asked to leave the courtroom except family members. The doors to the courtroom are locked.

    • Maybe Stabby is going to waive all the rest of the hearings and let his family inject her right there! Wouldn’t that be great?

    • Carol ‘e.b.s.&b.k’ Wow do you ever have a long title for a baby chick minder dontcha? Yes Stabby got her way again – likely because some of the jury were so moved by the victim statements they were crying as they left the courtroom – How could she possibly put on a good defense of mitigating factors after that?
I am crushed , cracked and splatted as now more of my life will go on hold next week with the waiting – but I have a great more empathy for the jurors and the Travis Alexander family who have been imprisoned in their own ways by these constant delays –
Look on the bright side – perhaps Eggy will be back so you won’t be stressed out by all us unruly peeps underfoot and in the cupboards looking for more bubbly concoctions.

      • Peony, no, I’m having a blast here with you all. I would be sitting here anyway yakking away. Thank you for joining us and making it fun! πŸ™‚

        • It’s been such a joy to find this blog! Instead of watching this trial and grinding my teeth in frustration – I get to share bubbly and stick sharp pins into the Stabby doll with all the “eggsters” ……much better than just yelling at the screen!
          Have a great weekend……..:)

  174. Well, 539 comments, Egg will be happy. I’m not.

    • I’m not either, but I am so happy to have a place to vent! Thanks Carol-Egg-Beater-sub-and-Bar-Keep! It has been a pleasure! I will check in over the weekend, but for now I have to get some mouthwash and some perfume to cover up the alcohol that is sweating out of my pores before my family walks into the house and knows what I have been up to today! Thanks everyone for letting me be a part of your group! XOXO

  175. Posted by Ria on May 16, 2013 at 3:47 pm

The EVIL demon had this planned, I believe she premeditates everything. She knew she was going to see Travis’ family’s impact statements and now, she wants to absorb it and make it work for her…she saw the heartfelt and REAL sentiments from Travis’ siblings so she needs to figure out how to mimic that. She has no real emotions so she needs some time to study. Therefore, the Stabby show will return after she’s learned her lines.

    • Posted by Cindy Lou on May 16, 2013 at 4:14 pm

Right on!! She’s rethinking the slack ass artwork PowerPoint presentation.

    • Posted by Polk8dot on May 16, 2013 at 4:53 pm

Absolutely on point – those were my exact thoughts when they announced court cancellation. Also I suspect that since both Samantha and Steven talked about the huge financial and emotional hardship of having to – because choosing to – be away from their families and jobs FOR TRAVIS, Stabby demon figured why not add a little more to their misery. Another wasted week, giggled the demon, Hehheheheehe. She will take any digs she can get in anymore.

This bitch knew since the morning that she will ‘sick out’ after the Victim Impacts. She had no idea what to expect given her total lack of humanity. Therefore she needed to first observe fow a real person pleads for their loved one, since this time ingratiating herself to the male portion of the jury was out of the question. She will spend the next 3 days making up abuse nobody saw, bruises nobody can confirm, neglect nobody ever witnessed. She will make up sob stories about her ‘DUMB sister Angela’, and her ‘STUPID ANNOYING UNEDUCATED Mother Sandy’ and her ‘SEXUALLY INAPROPRIATE MALE CHAUVINIST Father’. Then she will again REGALE HERSELF by TORTURING US with gross, intricate, offensive tales of non-existent woe.

My only hope for some retribution for the wasted day and the rest of the week is that the BIG BAD BERTHA will get her again. You know, the same one who sat on her face last night and poked her in the left eye with her strap-on (SORRY to be vulgar but that was exactly what came to my mind when I saw Stabby’s face. OK, that and that she used special effects makeup plus rubbed her face with some allergen. Ooops, there I went to BERTHA again πŸ˜‰ )
This bitch releases the basest, most vile impulses in me. Better I write them here that give myself an anneurism. I already fu@#ing itch all over the moment she comes on the screen. URRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

  176. Anybody got any updates of what went down? I should go look but I’m too pissed off.

    • Twitter post from Janna, “@CamilleKimball 3m
As I left the courtroom, #JODIARIAS was talking mitigator. She seemed animated/positive, in contrast to her face today otherwise.”

BUT, Here is another one she posted from another tweeter,
      “Jeffrey Evan Gold @jeffgoldesq 18s
you think #jodiarias was medicated? nervous? scared? it looked real to me sort of like when Golum lost my precious. pic.twitter.com/zWu82TyksO”

I hope the second is true!

  177. May 16, 2013 – 6:35 pm
Jean Casares was talking to Jodi’s Mother and Jodi’s Mother said β€œshe was advised not to take the stand on her daughter’s behalf because she would have to be cross examined by Juan Martinez.”

    • Posted by Barb on May 17, 2013 at 4:21 am

Jean Casares seems a little too buddy- buddy with the Mom of the Demon, don’t you think?

  178. Before everyone scatters, I want to thank all the Eggers and Egglets for being here today and making this fun. I love you all and so does Queen Egg! xoxox

    • Thank You Carol Egg Beater sub and Bar Keep! You are doing a great job keeping all us Eggers, Egglets, peeps and cheeps out of mischief for the Queen Egg!

  179. Posted by jenniferlyn on May 16, 2013 at 4:37 pm

So is there court tomorrow, or are they adjourned until Mondy?

  180. Just heard on JVM with Sherriff Arpio sp?? that JoDie is in solitary for three days now. Cool. bitch

  181. I kept waiting for the family to tear down the lies she’s told about Travis being a pedophile. All that was mentioned was his “being dragged through the mud” in very general terms, but I wanted SOMEONE to step up and specifically DENY these vicious allegations and how they were only another way for the demon to keep killing him over and over again (not exactly a mitigating factor). Maybe the family has too much class. Or maybe they were legally prohibited from doing so. Any attorneys here who can clarify, please? Also, can Mr. Martinez play her post-conviction tv interview when he closes AND, if she brings up her “art” as a mitigating factor, can he tell the jury that she has also lied about that, selling them as originals when she’s traced the images from magazine ads? These three issues would seal her fate. Any comments?

    • Posted by GBPL *its 8 a.m. somewhere!* on May 16, 2013 at 6:12 pm

I was kind of expecting the same…I’m still not sure how it all works..

I guess will know more on Monday… ughhhh my taxes will never get done at this rate!

    • Hi another Carole;
      1. From what I gathered reading veraciously around the sites is that IF Heavy brings out her ‘art’ that then is when they can press on with the plagiarism charges and sue her. But, only if and when the Alexander family sues for a wrongful death suit and they would get the first dibs on any money.
      2. The family was limited as to what they could say and not say in case she appeals later.
      3. I believe that Juan can bring in the 45 min. interview as a final statement that she has no remorse whatsoever after just being charged.
      4. Donavan has her twitter account up again last night selling her Survivor T shirts for $15.00 and supposedly that money goes to the mother. She can legally have this open from the First Amendment in the Constitution of free speech.
      Hope this answers some questions.
Anyone else want to jump in on this and comment if I an incorrect, fell free. πŸ˜‰

  182. NG said the butcher will be taking the stand Mon. ugh
    Another swirl of the bowl.

Well ok, I’m stilllllll at the bar ( and I don’t even drink aaaah didn’t drink). I love conversating with all you eggtweeters such great people!

    • Hi Reba, from what I can gather is that JoDie couldn’t get any of her peeps or pals to talk about her. REally?! They wasted so much time and Patch and Heavy got real pissed off so they cancelled the rest of the day. Cheers to you!

  185. Posted by GBPL *its 8 a.m. somewhere!* on May 16, 2013 at 6:58 pm

Hey Reba.. I missed the big…”failure to launch” (whoever posted that…too funny!)

Been trying to post all afternoon and evening. No post is showing up?? I think we need to start a new thread.
Missing joining in the fun. Sniff…..

    • De, that’s what I thought too. I just emailed Egg and bothered her to tell her. I think we may be crashing soon. She didn’t give me all the keys to change to a new post from her email. I don’t know what kind or size her server is. Sorry about your no posts. Missed you too!

    • Posted by GBPL on May 16, 2013 at 8:43 pm

awww De… maybe some of my posts shouldn’t have showed up!!

I’ve been rambling on and on but I’ll stop for the night!!

  191. 86% of Americans polled say she will get the Death sentence.

Patch and Heavy wanted out of the case yesterday and today since they are not Death qualified attorneys, only court appointed when someone is indigent. And, it wouldn’t look good on their resumes. HA!!
Gee, they didn’t think of this before? NOW they come up with this shit?! LOOSERS.

  192. Hey Sub … Site/page is going “all” white and comments are going poof!!

    • Hi cali, yea, I noticed that before and emailed Egg and bothered her with it. It may be crashing soon, I don’t know what kind of server she has.
I didn’t get all the keys to the hen house so I can’t put up a new post myself yet. If we crash, she will fix it soon, I’m sure.
