  1. Queen Egg, I have missed you, Carol and all the egg beaters! I visited the tree house yesterday looking for someone to conversate with. Hope everything is better for you! You have to find something to write about I need my fix! Thanks Queen EggC

  2. Eggy girl; hurry back….you are missed! John (N.J.)

I heartily echo the sentiments of the prior commenters!

Miss You!! I am just a shell of a person without your posts.

  5. Posted by Marnie Paige on June 1, 2013 at 6:52 am

I’m in withdrawal and isolating. I putter around the house and find satisfaction that Stabby is in solitary (hopefully) and greatly miss our daily chats – journalistic brilliance – and feedback of all the egg-lets. We need some action to keep us occupied.

  6. Marnie I was feeling the same way too so went back to April 17 and started reading – what a hilarious bunch of stuff I missed from Eggy as I joined the egghouse towards the end of the trial – Eggy is such a brilliant writer and just captures the goings on with an acid wit – Love it! If you are having withdrawal I’d recommend going back and reading her blog as the trial was progressing thru wonderland etc. for some good chuckles.

Great advice Peony….Egg’s posts and all the comments never get old or stale and always provide lots of laughter – as well as kindred spirits to conversate with.

    • I’m telling you, you’re funnier than Dave Barry, and I am not making this up! He put his columns into book form which is what I would love to see you do.

  7. I worry that Stabby will apologize to the Alexander family to impress the new jury 😥

    • Posted by De-Edifying watcher on June 1, 2013 at 7:34 am

I doubt she could pull that off. The words would get caught in her evil, lying throat.
Since her pathology includes blaming any and all for her plight, she likely now blames his family too for her soon to be life-long stay in an orange coveralls.

    • Posted by Ria on June 1, 2013 at 9:03 am

I agree with De, I think her true self will always show through and her apology, if she makes one, will come across as disingenuous.

      • Posted by Marnie Paige on June 2, 2013 at 8:47 am

EVERYTHING out of her mouth comes across as disingenuous. Being genuine is simply not in her DNA (if she even has any – maybe demon’s don’t).

        • Posted by Ria on June 2, 2013 at 9:07 am

True Marnie! If her lips are moving then it’s pretty much a lie that’s coming out.

          • I was called for jury duty this week *IKR!* and one of the things the defense atty said was “Even if it’s your brother-in-law up there on the stand and you think if he’s telling the truth it’s an accident…” thought of Your Royal Eggness IMMEDIATELY and how hilarious this world really is!

    • I think that Mr. Martinez will cover her last allocution statement to the jury in the last penalty phase. No doubt, he will make sure that she is not pulling the wool over their eyes.

      • Posted by jenniferlyn on June 1, 2013 at 12:34 pm

Yay, new thread, I have a hard time scrolling on my Kindle too Sully!!

RE: new jury, is Martinez allowed to mention what Stabby said last time? For some reason I don’t think he can…something along the lines of not allowing the last jury’s deadlock to reflect badly on the defendant. I’m not a professional however, if only it was possible to get a PhD from all I’ve learned over the decades watching CourtTV (now TruTV and not as good) Investigation ID, etc. I would be Dr DeMarte by now! (I consider her vastly more intelligent than the ones that apparently allowed Stabby to hijack their brains)

      • I hope Juan does cover her last alloction. She made LWOP sound like Summer Camp- and she won’t be running any Book Clubs or other such BS where she is going. I hope he also plays the media blitz interviews from the nite before the non- verdict. They are blasphemous !!

        • Posted by Pfenix on June 1, 2013 at 11:49 pm

Rather he covered the allocution of what she says to the new jury, which he didn’t touch on last time. He was keeping it focused on Travis. Felt he needed to point out her lies again, and the story behind the “survivor shirt” and how that was a BIG middle finger to everyone involved.

    • I agree that a sincere apology couldn’t cross the lips of the demon. Remember those interviews when the reporters asked why she never apologized, and she said, “I did.” Cutting down the victim, the family, and saying that “This is the worst mistake I have ever made…” (without giving any clarity as to whether she is talking about actually killing TA or if she is talking about not covering her tracks well enough)…that is as close as a demon can get to an apology.

Hi, High Queen Egg, where have you been, have missed conversating with you and all fellow members of the Egg Tree….. it’s been lonely these past days….. feel lost rattling around my apartment, directionless, desperately needing an egg fix…. hope everything is working out well for you and you are back on track….. we are still getting snippets about Stabby from HLN, but there is a great video blog on Facebook from a former guard at Perryville prison who is disputing all of her claims about having a book club and teaching whatever the hell it is she is blabbing about and says she is delusional, she will not be allowed to do any of that stuff under any circumstances, she will not be anywhere near genera population regardless of whether she gets DP or Life/w/p, so cheer up it can’t be all bad….. will post the link if I can find it….. luv to everybody.

    • Posted by Marnie Paige on June 2, 2013 at 8:53 am

My hope is she’ll be like Goldie Hawn as Private Benjamin when she showed up at boot camp and asked where her “hotel room” (or something to that effect) was. Let’s just hope the guards are all on to her nonsense and she doesn’t manipulate one the way jenniferlyn speculated about earlier (i.e., getting pregnant by one of the guards).

  9. Posted by Lee Wright on June 1, 2013 at 7:50 am

Back again…. re video, its called “Rose Colored Glasses” narrated by Carl R. ToersBijns, former Deputy Warden at Perryville, its on Facebook if you scroll down, or go to Facebook and its on there, just type in title, it should come up.

    • Posted by Sharon on June 1, 2013 at 3:23 pm

That is a great video….did not see any bookshelves or recycling bins in those cells.

    • Posted by Pfenix on June 1, 2013 at 11:54 pm

He also did a video on Youtube about what isolation is like for women prisoners and what Arias will experience the first few years regardless:

      • Posted by Sharon on June 2, 2013 at 6:30 am

Wow, if she sees this, she may beg for DP again.

        • Posted by DS on June 3, 2013 at 11:34 am

The only worry I have is that Judge Stevens will be lenient on her sentencing if the 2nd jury hangs. You bet your bottom dollar that JA and her defense team are working day and night right now trying to figure out more dishonest, ridiculous, disparaging, manipulative options and tools to present in the next penalty phase. It is going to get UGLY. ;-(

      • Even with LWOP she will serve between 2 – 5 years in solitary

      • Posted by Laurel on June 5, 2013 at 7:57 am

At first when I saw this, I thought “great!”
Then I realized that i still had questions:

        1) Noise leading to lack of sleep, and boredom with the monotony appear to be the two things that make solitary confinement and/or death row so miserable.

        2) If Jodi Arias has been in jail for 5 years already, and yet appears smug, sarcastic and narcissistically delusional even now.
Specifically why will it be any worse / different for her in prison?

        3) She doesn’t appear to be broken now in any way by the jail system.
Precisely why is prison worse than jail?
Saying it is “hell” doesn’t give specifics as to what makes it that way.

She appears to me to be like a cockroach, who adapts no matter what.
What exactly has Deputy warden Carl seen that make him believe it won’t be so easy for her in prison compared to jail?
        Are the inmates any meaner?
        Is the food worse?
        Is the smell worse?
Is she more likely to be tased or punished in other ways by the guards?
The heat or cold more extreme in summer or winter?
Since an inmate is allowed two books (at a time?) and a television, why aren’t they able to entertain themselves with those on an ongoing basis?

          • Posted by Laurel on June 5, 2013 at 11:29 am

This is where Arias belongs! Now I understand a bit more than i did before. Solitary confinement is just as horrible as the DP.

            • This is the kind of thing that causes me to believe in karma. We wish her the dp, because that is completely what we think she deserves (and I do, emphatically). But this is more than likely going to be the worst punishment for this particular demon.

              • I worked in a max. Prison for a very short time. I had to give meds to inmates in Solitary. When you entered the cell block, the lighting was very bad. You could hear the Inmates yelling at each other in order to conversate. They had nick names for each other. When you approach each door, they were in the door window talking. Employees were prohibited from conversating except to answer questions about meds. So the inmates would ask all sorts of questions and some inmates would actually masterbate while you were standing there. We had to crush their meds and put them in water , stand there while they took them so they wouldn’t “Cheek” them. After meds were taken, you move on to the next cell and repeat the process. It was awful and I hated it. In the general population, these people were some of the happiest people I’ve ever seen. This life was their norm. The laughed, joked, watched tv played games etc and seemed to adjusted to their environment. They had jobs and did their own thing. They had a very nice law library. On death row, the inmates remained in their cell. One of the inmates was Damian Echols ( West Memphis Three). He was always on the phone. When I gave his meds, he was very nice but as with others, I never had a conversation with him. There were televisions suspended from the ceilings, one to about every third cell. They could see the picture but there was no sound. I asked about this and was told ” we have to provid the tv but we don’t have to provide the sound”. It was very noisy in every cell block as they all yelled at each other to conversate. It was a very interesting job but I lasted only about three months . It is my belief that Stabby would not last long in that environment with her superior attitude. To survive, she would have to change once again as they are tougher, meaner and really don’t give a damn about celebritery status. In fact I think Stabby will be someone’s “Bitch” when she does get to general population and will become just like some of the rest of them.

                • Posted by Faihful on June 6, 2013 at 5:42 am

Many times I said I would like to see StabbyLWOP for the shire fact she will be locked away by her ugly self for a very long time. IMO I think the DP is to good for, for it would end her miserable life to easy. She deserves to suffer for a long time. She has killed Travis in the prime of his life and caused so much suffering to his family. If and when she joins general population the fellow prisoners could care less who she is. She will be viewed as a new piece of meat. She deserves everything bad and ugly for the rest of her miserable life.

        • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 3:32 am

You’re so right Laurel, Stabby just seems to adapt to every environment…like nothing can harm her. It’s very frustrating!

She just started being in solitary confinement. In jail she was in General Pop. Look how bad she looked after what 5 days in solitary after the guilt stage when she mouthed off to Fox 10? Not too good.

The smirk will definitely leave the demon’s face.

  13. HLN has used up every idea for a “special” on the Arias trial. I watched the one on her private life, her boyfriends, and stalking. How about something new…………………………
Tonight on HLN! Kirk and Jenny-the Secret Love Tapes!
    Hear Jenny whisper,”May I approach?” to a giggling Nurmi………
Hear the loud groaning and moaning as Jenny tries to find Nurmi’s fly……
Hear the real reason Jenny is missing hair——-Nurmi’s head licking….
Hear the shocking story of how Kirk’s speedos wound up as curtains in Jenny’s window..
Hear the snorting and giggling as they call Juan Martinez “old poopy head”…….
Hear the real reason Nurmi talks so slowly—-he took hits off a bong before court….

Sorry all, just a thought. This is what happens when hubby is working in the garage and I have unstructured time on my hands.

    • Oldsouthernwoman that was good and better than what we see on HLN. Very funny! I would love to see NG, JVM, VP come up with so etching like that. Maybe they could present this to the live jury “did Wilma and Nurmie experiment with Stabbie’s pop rocks? Is their a smoking gun? You decide!” Yes that would play well!

    • Posted by jenniferlyn on June 1, 2013 at 12:56 pm

Eeww are you TRYING to make me vomit? No more unstructured time for you!

    • Posted by Sharon on June 1, 2013 at 3:24 pm

OMG….too funny…don’t like the visual I get about Nurmi’s speedo.

    • Ewwwww! I just threw up in my mouth! I am not sure which is worse…Nurmi licking Wilma’s head bald or the fact that he owns a speedo! Bwahahaha…Oldsouthernwoman… you are hilarious!

    • Posted by Pfenix on June 2, 2013 at 12:00 am

Ack…just fork me already, this Couch Trial Potato is DONE…ACK

    • That is TOO funny. I laughed so much I think a little bit of wee just came out.

    • Posted by potatoes browning on June 2, 2013 at 6:28 pm

I loved your post ,it gave me a couple of good laughs….However,i was sorry not to see HLN do a program titled Confessions of Ms Jenny::Jenny under oath yes Sara Palin really is my twin sister…or maybe one called Confessions of a lawn gnome: Perry Mason was my idol.. but Mr Burger was my dad……the there could be The Jodi Arias police interrogation head stand work out plan….decreases stress improves circulation while waiting to be charged with felony murder….Theses would be real treats and fascinating to watch……enjoy the week fellow Eggy watchers!!!

    • Posted by GBPL on June 2, 2013 at 7:40 pm

I don’t know what happened to my comment..lost in cyberville anyways,..that was tooo funny and I can almost see those as skits on SNL!!
      Potatoes…yours too are hilarious!
      *Eggy watchers! hehehe

    • I “caught” up on a few follow-up shows but already feel like I’m just burned out on the whole thing. It bothers me, actually, that HLN doesn’t want to come down from the high. There’s a tipping point (I believe it’s called “jumping the shark” in the entertainment industry) where the law of diminishing returns is reached. It seems they started pimping the Zimmerman trial before that happened, in anticipation! They also seem to be testing the “Seacat” trial to see if it catches fire as well.

  14. I though I was the only one addicted to eggs but I see I am not. Good misery loves company. See Queen Egg you are missed and we need our fix! Baby sitter where are you? I see you have looked at he post, you must make some sort of comments my day is just not complete without some kind of comment. Btw, read the geniology of Jack Shitt yesterday! Lmao thanks for sharing!

    • You are not alone, Reba…We are going to have to start an Eggoholics Anonymous! It is so great to have an outlet here! 🙂

  15. Oh please, please, please, pretty please…I have to hear your take on either the Caryn Kelley or Brett Seacat case…Miss your posts…Hugs from the Baked Apple:)

I think he’s something in law enforcement GB, his wife was shot in the head and then the house was burned down or something. She had just filed for divorce. He’s claiming she committed suicide but her family said there’s no way she would do that.

  16. Thanks for the new thread Queen Egg…Hope everything is working out for you. I think of you often! Let Carol Bar Keep know we miss her, too!

Get a load of the inmates in the Estrella Jail with Jodi Arias. Although none of them stabbed 29 times and nearly decapitated their victim, they are a bunch of tough cookies. I thankfully for one have never even met women like this. http://www.hlntv.com/slideshow/2013/04/08/jodi-arias-jail-phoenix-nancy-grace-behind-bars-six-female-inmate-profiles?hpt=hln10_2

    • These are some rough looking characters! Can you imagine Stabbie’s superior attitude with these inmates or those in prison?

    • Posted by Lee Wright on June 2, 2013 at 7:02 am

They are all delightful, no doubt about it, but Stabby still wins the Miss Estrella Inmate of the Year award, collectively none of them could top her, they didn’t kill someone three times, stabbing, cutting his throat, and shooting him, they would probably be afraid of her, and happy she is not in general population!

    • Posted by Ria on June 2, 2013 at 8:44 am

OMG, the one with the tattoo’d eyebrows!!! She doesn’t look like she’ll be joining Stabby’s book club.

      • Posted by GBPL on June 2, 2013 at 7:48 pm

i was trying to read what her eyebrows said.. lol..theres something you don’t read everyday!!! looks like something “chips”??? lol

Trying to be all bad… “you looking at me?? or just trying to read my love of chips!??!”

      • Posted by Marnie Paige on June 2, 2013 at 9:10 am

I’m glad you had a fun day GB! I think it was you who had mentioned the Demon singing O Holy Night in the interrogation room. I watched it and wow, sooooo creepy when she starts singing that! I also caught at one point she mutters something, I kept rewinding it to see if I could make out what she said but I couldn’t so I read the comments to see if anyone caught it. Seems like most people agree that she said “I still beat you…brat”. She’s completely alone when she said it so I’m assuming she’s referring to Travis. She’s so beyond crazy!!!

  20. Posted by potatoes browning on June 1, 2013 at 8:15 pm

Eggy!!!: Since the trial interruption it has been a dull life for an old retired fart.like me. I miss ms jenny’s requests to approach and her strident stomping to reach the very patient judge stephens. I miss the lawn gnome leaning back disheveled in his chair. Like a biker leaning back on his hog while cruising the Pacific Coast Highway the lawn gnome radiates the perfect i dont give a shit attitude. He may not be perry mason but i do admire his ability to zone out and get paid very well for doing it. Then there is the ringmaster jodi girl. I miss seeing jodi girl sitting in court with that superior smirk and her desire to edify travis by dragging his reputation through the mud. She will remind us that she didn’t want to de-edify travis that but the family wouldn’t settle for a plea to murder 2 and a walk in 7 years….the family wouldn’t settle so what else can a girl do? But most of all i miss juan martinez. He brought a true passion to his job and finding justice for travis. He did that in an admirable way and only fell short of a perfect victory because a few jurors allowed gender compassion to over power the evidence. And so we are here waiting for the system to try and to send satan’s kitten to hell. That is an admirable task and i hope the next jury does not fail…when they reconvene the trial in july in will once again be reading here. So Eggy you have created a truly great and most entertaining blog…. i look forward to jodi continued and the return your snarky wit, your sparky repartee and your cutting insight the jodi girls trial comings and goings on……Peace out!

  21. Good evening to all,

I have been doing a lot of traveling the past couple weeks, tending to some ongoing personal issues, so I havent been able to “check in” or post as much as I would like. But I am definitely following along with the conversation out of pocket. I miss all of you guys too, and am so delighted to see everyone hanging out and having fun chatting. Just wanted to let everyone know I’m OK, despite the lull in posting. I’m sure I will write something new at some point, about something or other, no worries there.

Right, that’s worse a fame-whore-wanna-be. He can join the list of Arias Trial wanna-be’s: Demon Whore, Willmutt, Wormi, Samdamnuals, La Toliette, etc.

If you should ever find yourself plagued by insomnia, (or can’t wait until July to hear Stabby’s dulcet tones) you can watch ALL of the interview on YouTube, just search “jodi arias police interviews” There’s a total of 18 parts, covering a total of 2 days, 2 outfits (one lovingly provided by the taxpayers) 2 detectives, and innumerable requests from Stabby to view the pictures from that day. (specifically, of the crime scene, and the 3 “oops, I didn’t mean to take those!” pics…but only to help jostle her memory of course!)

      • Posted by Ria on June 2, 2013 at 4:47 pm

I couldn’t get over how she was so determined to see those photo’s!

        • Posted by jennIferlyn on June 2, 2013 at 5:08 pm

          • Posted by Ria on June 3, 2013 at 5:12 am

And it’s weird how, when she asks to clean up, she says “This is going to prove how shallow I really am”…so she clearly knows she’s got something wrong inside.

  32. Posted by Observer on June 2, 2013 at 12:13 pm

I couldn’t tell what she said under her breath. Jodi exhibits such bizarre behavior that I bet her attorneys wanted her to plead not guilty because of insanity but she refused. She told the jury she had no mental problems. Samuels testified that he and Nurmi went to her and confronted her about the Ninja story. They may have asked her if she was abused and so she concocted the self defense story thinking she could walk. Then she had so much time in her cell that she made up the pedophile abuse stories to try to blackmail the state into letting her plead guilty to second degree murder and get out of prison in a few years. She said in a post verdict interview that her attorneys decided to “blow off the lid” when the state forced them to trial. She blames everything on someone else. She wanted to play the sex tape with just Travis’s voice and show the text messages Travis sent her to make him look bad but the state convinced the judge to play the entire tape which made her look worse than Travis. The very evidence Jodi introduced – the “mean” text messages from Travis proved motive and the story she told about peeking in his window and seeing him with another woman proved that she stalked him.

I wonder if people in Yreka who knew her and her family were surprised that she stabbed her ex boyfriend 29 times, slit his throat and shot him in the head. A waitress who worked with her told Dr. Drew she was creepy, got no tips because she was a bad waitress then blamed it on the other waitresses and once kept a cat in a dark room with little food and water for two weeks and then said she didn’t feel bad when it was shaking but took it to the pound to be destroyed. I remember reading on a blog written by someone who knew the family that her father had been married twice and the Ariases were white trash. Travis’s friends all said she was creepy, dressed and acted sexual, sucked on Travis’s earlobe and kissed his neck as he spoke to his friends, clung to him, texted and called him non stop, was jealous of any of his female or male friends and stared at them with scary eyes when they were talking about her or trying to tell her to move on and leave Travis alone.

A lady from the neighborhood Jodi grew up in was interviewed a while back, she was considerably older than Jodi so they definitely didn’t go to school together. She said Jodi had a well known reputation for being a liar. I am surprised though that more people from her past haven’t popped up, like former school mates etc., to give some insight as to what she was like during that time.

      • Posted by Pfenix on June 2, 2013 at 4:08 pm

One of her former school mates is running the paypal and email account for Jodiisinnocent.com. Keep saying, someone needs to follow that money. Daddy Arias was a known pot dealer in Yreka, nice…Poppa Pot or Smokey the Dopey. That is only some of the rot I have read about them.

See video above, this guy sleuthed where the website comes from, he did track part of it to Pakistan, but SJ is supposedly Simon Johannson who has run other sites, and Jodi’s. That the guy she mentioned she did her latest “Artwork” for with the cat’s eye portrait.

              http://jodiariasguilty.com/aimee-lantz-information/

Why in the world would she let herself get caught up with Stabby?!?!?

              • Posted by pfenix on June 3, 2013 at 7:28 pm

                1. She is friends of the family and was supposedly the drug rehab councilor for Angela Arias (JoDie’s little sis, the stupid one JM mentioned)

                2. Here is the BIG reason…MONEY $$$$$$. They need money for Jodi, going to the trial, and going on vacation during the DP stage, and just getting what they can from JoDie. That’s why I harp on following the money with her two websites.

Also it may help the Arias Demon Clan to get around the Son of Sam laws. Why it is important for the Alexander family to do the civil suit to stop JoDie and family from making money from her infamy by murder with the art and supporters. DISGUST all the way around!

Nancy Grace scored an interview with a woman from Palm Springs, whose daughter lived with Hodi for a few weeks. To set the scene: it was right after Darryl moved back to be near his son, after she’s already been sleeping for months in a separate bedroom from the man ‘she bought the house with’, after meeting Travis and starting the long distance thing. (There are also reports out there that she did not ‘buy the house with Darryl’, that he bought it all by himself, that she immediately took a separate bedroom after they moved in there, and that she was required to pay her half of all household expenses (like a renter would) which she stopped doing after getting into the PPL pipe-dream).
The girl and Stabby met at some PPL event, and were assigned to the same working group. They were supposed to study the materials together and go to other events together. Since Darryl was gone, Stabby now needed someone else to pay the mortgage, so she offered to rent the girl a room, which ended up being right next door to hers, sharing a wall.
According to the mother, the girl started calling her almost every day since then, complaining about all the weird/uncomfortable goings on in that house.
Apparently, there was not a night that Stabby would spend alone. Every single night she brought some new guy home, clearly for sex only, sometimes more than 1. She would then put on a show for the girl (because all ‘normal’ people behave like that, don’t you know?) where she was engaging in screaming sexcapades, etc. with the girl on the other side of the wall. She seemed to be taking great pleasure in making the girl uncomfortable, and in proving her sexual prowess.
Keep in mind all this happening after she already met Travis, was actively pursuing him, having a sexual relationship with him, having LDS missionaries to the house several times a week, studying the Book of Mormon, preparing for baptism.
The promiscuity appeared to be getting worse day by day, said the girl, and some nights she could not sleep at all with Hodi’s amateur porn-set antics going on. The guys never stuck around, they left right after sex, and never came back again.
The girl lasted all of under 3 weeks there, and told her mother she needed to move out because the atmosphere in the house was very poisonous to her. Apparently Hodi already lived in dirt and squalor, the house never getting cleaned, the mess and the stink permeating everything. I guess she was expecting the girl to do all that ‘earthly’ stuff, while she, Stabby, had all her sexual fantasies to engage in and develop before trying them out on Travis.
I could not get my mind around this when I heard it. The Demon was supposed to be sooooo taken, sooooo charmed, soooo bamboozled by Travis that she lost interest in anything else in her life. Yet here she is, pretending to want a relationship with him, to want to follow LDS teachings, to want to date him, while getting her brains screwed out every single night by a different guy. Obviously if that was happening at this stage, why should we believe that it stopped after the girl moved out, and Stabby classified herself officially as ‘Travis’s girlfriend’?
And the reason I believe that this story is true, is Stabby’s own interview back in September 2008, soon after her arrest. When asked why her relationship with Travis ended, she said that ‘THERE WAS A BREACH OF TRUST’. And when pushed ‘On Whose Side?’ she said ‘ON MINE. (long pause) On his a little too.’

I always thought that she was way too comfortable with herself and her own sexuality to be this ‘meek, shy, good girl who got ruined by the deviant Travis’. I believe she was always a SEX ADDICT who would get satisfaction from anyone and anywhere just because she wanted to feel powerful. That also goes together with the story Abe told (Hodi ‘tried’ to date him before Travis, but he pretty much ran away screaming after the second date). On their first date they went to dinner. Afterwards, in the parking lot, Hodi got on a car’s hood, spread her legs, laughed like a maniac, and kept saying ‘Oh, yeah, that will give them all a really good show to look at’ while pointing to all the cars stuck on the freeway outside the parking lot, whose drives could clearly see them having sex on the hood. That was the ‘shy, chaste, monogamous, family-oriented woman’ they tried to bamboozle us into believing ever existed, and only ‘Travis with his depravity, his sick perversions, ruined her soul and befouled her body and mind.
      She is DISGUSTING.
Great, now I grossed myself out so much, I gotta take another shower.

Polk8dot, I think you’re right about her not actually buying the house with Darrell. On another website, someone had investigated it more and there’s no foreclosure listed under Stabby.

I’m still dying to know how she first got interested in the whole PPL thing!

        • Posted by Chris West Palm Beach on June 5, 2013 at 9:23 pm

          Ria,
I can’t remember exactly where I saw it but Jodi and Darryl did buy the house together.
It may have been on a real estate web site about the house being foreclosed.
both their names were listed as owners.

          • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 3:35 am

Thanks for the info. Chris, I’m going to see if I can find something on it.

Looks like Darryl Brewer filed for bankruptcy in 2011. And Jodi does show up as being listed on the house they lost.

  33. Posted by Observer on June 2, 2013 at 4:28 pm

Of course, I don’t believe everything I read on the blogs because some people pretend to know someone and make up stories to get attention but I wouldn’t be surprised if Jodi’s father was a pot dealer. The entire family appears to be all out for themselves. Who goes to the Grand Canyon on vacation while a jury is deliberating whether your daughter/sister lives or dies. The entire Arias family seems to fend for themselves. Jodi threw them under the bus and they returned the favor.

Jodi’s childhood friend Pothead Patty refused to answer Martinez when he asked her if Jodi and she did drugs together. At the advise of Nurmi and Wilmott, she took the Fifth Amendment, which means they did and she was afraid of being charged with it. When Jodi’s mother said friends would call her in the middle of the night and say she needed to get Jodi help and that she was Bi Polar I wonder if Jodi was just on a bad drug trip. Drugs and alcohol can alter the chemistry in the brain and make someone manic one minute and depressed the next.

Nurmi threw a tantrum and refused to put on a mitigation case last time after the judge refused to call a mistrial. He got his mistrial so now what is he going to do? The problem is all the character witnesses for Jodi Arias have their own baggage and could hurt her more than help her so it will be interesting to see how the defense proceeds before the new jury. Jodi will take it as far as she can go because she wants to postpone the trip to the big house and get either life or death so she can begin her appeal. She believes she can get the guilty verdict tossed and either walk or get a new trial. But I am convinced good will triumph over evil and she will get the death penalty and all appeals will be denied.

    • Posted by Observer on June 2, 2013 at 6:46 pm

Thanks Nancy. The whole article was excellent but I especially liked this part where she discussed how Jodi thought she should get away with murder because she is female.

      From WTF Fatigue: Jodi Arias

      by Dr. Tara Palmatier

“When I first read about the Arias case, I thought to myself, “Oh, another sociopathic borderline. Wonder if she’ll claim to be the real victim and manage to get off?” Miraculously, the Arizona jury didn’t pull a Casey Anthony and found Arias guilty of first-degree murder – even though she’s a woman and card carrying member of the Sisterhood of Professional Victimhood. Shocking, I know.

Even Arias was surprised by the guilty verdict and said she felt “betrayed” by the jury. WTF #1. (There were multiple previous WTFs. This WTF is when I officially began counting).

Specifically, Arias said, “It felt like a huge sense of unreality. I felt betrayed, actually, by the jury. I was hoping they would see things for what they are.”

Unreality? You mean like when Alexander’s family and friends learned their loved one was butchered and left for dead in a pool of blood? In true BPD-sociopath fashion, Arias shows no compassion for her victims and their feelings and reserves compassion exclusively for herself. Furthermore, last time I checked, murder is a crime. Seems to me, the jury would have betrayed U.S. law by acquitting her. This was not a crime of passion nor was it self-defense. It was pre-meditated murder.

“See things for what they are” = “Believe my persuasive blaming and victim-speak and let me get away with murder.” Arias seems to have expected the jury to believe her contradictory, hole-ridden testimony as opposed to the evidence.

She banked on jurors believing her emotionally charged bullshit instead of the facts. But why shouldn’t she?

Lots of women get away with murder (sometimes literally) in Family Court and Criminal Court every single day. Just look at male vs. female conviction rates for similar crimes and who the winners are in the majority of Divorce-Custody Lotto cases. In that respect, I suspect Arias does feel like she’s getting a raw deal for being convicted of a crime she admitted committing because she’s a woman and should, therefore, be exempt from the consequences of her aberrant behaviors.”

  35. I read that Juan Martinez was the 7th 0f 8 children of sharecroppers and spoke no English until he was 6. He figured out that if he ever wanted to better himself he should learn English. The rest is history. I think this is one reason why he has so passionately been a voice for Travis, who had that same determination to pull himself up in life with no excuses. I tell you, if I wasn’t a happily married old thing, I’d have a go at Juan! Does that make me “the Silver Stalker”?

    • Posted by pfenix on June 2, 2013 at 6:18 pm

Nah, that just makes you a Juanita, a JM groupie, hee, hee.

    • Posted by Observer on June 2, 2013 at 7:03 pm

Wow. I didn’t know anything about Juan’s childhood. You’re right. Like Travis, he made a success of his life despite his hard childhood.

By thinking outside the box, Juan has won over 300 cases in 25 years and he still has the energy and enthusiasm of a young law student trying his first case. I was so impressed with his Perry Mason like style and how he turned Jodi’s own words against her. Jodi herself painted herself as a stalker with her story of peeking in Travis’s window and seeing him with a woman and spelled out the motive to murder by reading “mean” text messages Travis sent to her. Martinez was brilliant when he used Travis’s words in the courtroom to convict her of first degree murder.

      “Evil sociopath,”
      “You only cry for yourself,”
“You have hurt me worse than when my father died”
“You are the worse thing that ever happened to me.”

    • Wow Reba! I’ve always been Pro-choice but after reading that I am sickened by the visual images I am getting. I’ve always thought that birth itself is a miracle and that each person has something of value to give to society. Even the most horrible acts can galvanize a large portion of the rest of us into changing something or gaining a better understanding which moves society as a whole forward.
Now that I’ve read your post at treehouse I’m going to give alot more thought to the issue. Thanks for opening my eyes!

Hope you can see this…Jodi’s survivor shirt is one more fake. Look at the Nike Survivor shirts

Wow, wonder if Nike will sue her.

    • Posted by GBPL on June 3, 2013 at 7:49 am

I’m pretty sure thats a “death blow” to the Nike’s shirts… I know I wouldn’t be sporting anything remotely close to either!!!
People would give you the stink-eye thinking your supporting her deluded claims!

In Psychologist Kristin Randle’s latest blog, she psychoanalyzes Jodi supporters who trash Travis and come to the conclusion they have to be mentally ill.

@Observer- Digital media now gives us all some insight into what our fellow humans are thinking and how they process facts from what they want to believe. On Jodi’s site, I believe a large majority of the postings are fake. It is rigged to gain traffic. Think about this for a moment. The majority of the people that have followed the trial are women. And how many actually had the time to follow closely? probably not that many.
They hear dribs and drabs and come to a conclusion that she was wronged hence the belief she was abused. They don’t realize that she is a very, very ill person. There is no excuse for any legitimate web-site to allow body-bag photos of a crime victim or to allow their postings not to be monitored for decency. It’s sad that this is what we have come to.

      • Posted by Observer on June 2, 2013 at 8:05 pm

Chris, I think you are right. I would bet most of the pro Jodi posts are written by trolls who get a big kick out of stirring the pot and upsetting Justice for Travis posters. All high profile murder cases attract groupies who want to marry a serial killer or horrific murderer. These people are demented and evil themselves. I avoid sites that publish any posts supporting an admitted convicted murderer and trashing a victim of a horrific crime. I don’t care to read such trash. I heard three callers on Dr. Drew’s show say they supported Jodi and they just seemed misguided and misinformed. I am just glad none of these crazies ended up on the jury and hope none end up on the second jury.

I had heard the same thing about the Twitter account…that not all the “followers” are “real” folk, but hastily made-up accts.

        • There are websites where one can “purchase” robotic twitter followers to make it look like one has a large volume of “supporters.” Just ask Leann Rimes.

          • Posted by pfenix on June 3, 2013 at 7:40 pm

Bwahahahaha!!! Leann Rimes buying followers. Can’t believe she just turned 30, and yet so immature and DUMB with her jerk boyfriend.

            • You mean her stolen husband? 🙂 Careful, or she might sue you for online “bullying,” like she’s doing to that school teacher who has 6 children to raise.

Yeah, her Twitter following grew by about 50K “people” overnight, and somebody called shananigans and uncovered the sites where you can buy followers. Pathetic….

        • Posted by GBPL on June 4, 2013 at 7:42 am

I just read that Leann Rhimes is joining the masses in the new “F word” campaign… to stop bullying. I was thinking she was being quite the bully herself.
          Pot meet kettle…..

          http://www.eonline.com/news/425825/leann-rimes-gives-bullying-the-bird-in-powerful-image-for-the-new-f-word-campaignsid=rss_msn_news

I think there a more appropriate way to deal with bullying than this particular campaign. I can just see the birds flying all around now anytime anyone takes offense at something.

    • Posted by Sully on June 3, 2013 at 9:31 am

On a related/unrelated note: I heard one of the jury consultants say that when they conduct voir dire, they pay attention to words used in responding to questions. She even noted a difference between the response of “I believe” vs. “I think.” She said “I think” indicates that the person is more independent and will make a better juror (i.e. weighing the facts) vs. “I believe,” which could indicate opinions based on feelings more so than on fact.

      • Posted by GBPL on June 3, 2013 at 8:30 pm

I’ve been called for jury duty 5 times, and almost picked once.
As much grief as I gave this particular jury about not being able to decide on a punishment,..I’m glad that I wasn’t sitting on that jury.
In hearing/ reading about what they went thru, and the grief afterwards,..I feel quite comfortable playing the “armchair juror” thank you very much! 😛
*plus the horror of not being able to use the internet during the entire time… shudder to think*

        • Posted by Ria on June 4, 2013 at 9:13 am

I’m not an American citizen so I’m not able to serve but I agree with you GB, it’s much easier to have an opinion when you’re not the one who has to dole out the punishments. And for sure, I’d be having internet withdrawals too!

        • Posted by GBPL on June 4, 2013 at 8:42 pm

ewwwww my “thank you very much” reminds me of the demons message she left after she committed the crime,..trying to cover her tracks.. ughghghghghgghhh

Or just send an emmisary of one: Egg. (OMGoodness, what if SHE isn’t back for the next round?!? I don’t think I can take it without her wit to keep me from throwing my TV out the window!)

            • Posted by Ria on June 3, 2013 at 7:43 am

Thank you GB! I’ve listened to a couple of those with Chris and Sky Hughes but haven’t checked out the archived ones. I’m going to listen while I do laundry:)

            • Well it’s laundry day and I started listening but got cranky – I hate it when that happens on a Monday – starts the week off on a note – well that and the rain don’t help – but took exception to the abuse claim on the blog talk radio –

Verbal abuse when you are not married – not living together – not in a relationship is NOT abuse – it’s a b.s. claim as you don’t have to deal with it at all if you choose not to.
To my ears it’s an argument – over something someone has done or threatened to do.

Come on……out of some 80,000 email etc. the defense can find what 3 or 4 bad words written? When the demon was likely threatening Travis – Further – when someone stabs you – would you not likely try to hit them back?
But Travis did not do that – the the murdering demon went on to her boyfriends house to jump on him without any bumps of bruises -I wish Travis had grabbed a lamp and cracked her head open –
I would have called that self defense –
The only interesting thing now is that the Demon is behind bars and in solitary – I like that part – and prison awaits her – A few years in solitary should grind those horns of hers down a bit.

              • Posted by Ria on June 3, 2013 at 4:48 pm

I’m amazed that some of the juror’s didn’t pick up on the fact that it was a couple of texts, taken completely out of context! It was clearly a reaction to something. If you listen to the phone conversation Jodi taped, Travis wouldn’t even say the F word!!! He actually calls it “the F word”!

          • Posted by GBPL on June 3, 2013 at 9:46 am

Nothing against Katiekoollady whatsoever, but whenever I get a chance to see a clip of Beth Karas on a HLN clip, she always gets interrupted or Dr. Drew cuts her short to ask one of his favorites what she thinks.. Her name escapes me now…naturally!

            • Posted by Victoria on June 3, 2013 at 10:04 am

Katie Wick was a bit grating to listen to on the Podcast, something about her voice. But hey, I got tons of laundry done while listening, yay me!

            • Posted by Ria on June 3, 2013 at 4:46 pm

I posted a reply to you but it was under my full name so I think it went to Eggo’s spam or moderation. Anyway, are you thinking of Katie Wick? Her voice was a bit grating on the podcast, I could’ve done without her but I agree, I would have liked to hear more of Beth!

              • Posted by GBPL on June 3, 2013 at 8:36 pm

I don’t think so…Not so much the person that I was talking about, just the fact that it wasn’t ALL Beth Karas!
I love her crazy voice and take on things, and I think Dr. Drew is exeptionally rude when it comes to having 4 guests , and keeps going back to the one he likes…
what is HER name!?!?!?!? oh well, when I try to watch HNL clips..i’ll take notes! ha!

I recorded his show last night and am watching it right now, he’s always got that Jenny Hutt or whatever her name is. He has 2 of the jurors on again.

Ok..Jenny is def one…. BUT the one I was referring to is “Robbie”
I just suffered thru a half dozen DD to finally find one with her in it! lol.. can you believe!

DD can be terribly rude,… and he’s always got “nausea” problems!! Now I’ve got
heartburn listening to him for the last 30 min…

Ohhh and Jenny is hilarious making incredulous faces while whomever is speaking…
I keep expecting her to mouth..” W. T. F.!!!” or making the motions with her thumb and pinky as if they were “drunk” Ha!! Thats what gets me thru these clips!

    Eggy,
I’ve been reading your blog for several months now and love your take on this trial. I’ve NEVER gotten so wrapped up in something like this before…I think it’s because JA give me the total creeps! Anyway, I was watching an old 48 Hours episode the other day and I’m wondering if the demon’s (final!) story that she regurgitated during trial was based on this show and what happened to the victim. It’s very eerie how this story sounds exactly like the succubus’s description of events. Not sure if the dates work out or not…

A message from Chris Hughes, Travis’ friend:

We are excited to announce the 1st annual Travis Alexander Legacy Day of Service! It will take place July 28th, 2013, and continue every year on July 28th, Travis’ birthday. This is a day when we can honor Travis by doing what he loved to do most…serve others. It was Travis’ goal to help better the world, and he will continue to accomplish this through each of us! You can do something that is important to you, or something that was important to Travis. Some examples:

    – Hand out brown paper bag hygiene kits to the homeless with Travis’ quote: “The difference between a Stumbling Block and Stepping Stone is the Character of the individual walking the path.”
    – serve food at a homeless shelter
    – volunteer at an animal shelter
    – fundraise for an animal shelter
    – plant some trees
    – clean up a park/street
    Become a big brother/big sister
    Read/learn/teach personal development/leadership
Buy reusable grocery bags (maybe even a set for a friend)
Be a friend to someone in need of a friend, or a better friend to one you have
    Random acts of kindness

The list could go on and on! These are just a few examples. You can do it alone, with friends, family, or organize a group! We would really appreciate it, if you send us your experiences via pictures, video, or in written form. We will be posting these pictures and experiences on his official website: travisalexander.org (Still under construction, but it’s there:) You can email pictures, videos and experiences to servicejuly28@gmail.com Also, if anyone can think of a really cool name we can call this day, besides Travis Alexander Legacy Day of Service (a little long), we are open to your ideas! We would love to take credit for this awesome idea, but it wasn’t ours. A woman suggested it to Chris Hughes on Twitter. If you see this, please send us your name- we would love to give you credit.

Excellent plan Chris, and all of Travis’ friends. I will definitely mark that day on my “perpetual” calendar as a reminder to serve in Travis’ honor. What a great way to honor his legacy!

Tomorrow is the fifth anniversary of Travis Alexander’s brutal murder. Here’s a link to the wonderful things people are still posting on the guest book of his death notice.http://www.legacy.com/guestbooks/azcentral/guestbook.aspx?n=travis-alexander&pid=111492055&cid=full

    • Posted by Observer on June 3, 2013 at 10:33 pm

It is a testimony to how loved Travis Alexander was that more than 4,000 people wrote tributes to him over the five years, many who knew him from school, his church and PPL and others who never met him but feel like they know him after hearing his friends speak of him in the media. When Jodi dies in prison, I doubt if anybody will say how much she changed their life and how much they miss her. Even her own family didn’t care enough to veg for her life in front of the jury or stick around to see if the jury gave her life or death.

      • Posted by Ria on June 4, 2013 at 9:15 am

Wow, so many entries! I’m sure it’s very hard for the family to believe it’s been 5 years.

It may be slow but some how or another justice is coming.

Oh that was a great read Sharon!!!
So many great points,… for instance the missing engagement ring, and her damaged finger! You can almost picture the scene of her showing up sporting that ring and his indingnant reaction. *This is speculation in the article.
Plus, she made an excellent point and probably the truest of all… that if the camera’s and the Alexanders’ were not allowed in the courtroom…that the jury would of seen a very different demon. That she thrived on that attention. flourished…ughhhhhh.

Well thanks for that post… now i’m going to finish to the podcast I started yesterday!

NOOOOO!! I guess representing Stabby hasn’t hurt Jenny’s client base, as she IS BUSY with another case on July 18th, so we’ll find out during the June 20th status hearing whether the new “mini-trial” for the punishment phase is going to be DELAYED. (it will be) GRRR

    A message from Steven Alexander:

June 4th will forever be a dark reminder of who has been ripped from our lives. June 4th will always be the day we stop and think this is the day Travis was murdered. You will think about all the horrible pain and suffering he went through. That day will always come.

I believe with every ounce of my being that June 4th will be an everyday reminder to her. A reminder of why she sees the inside of a cell for 23hrs a day. A reminder of what she did. All alone, every day, a living hell. Until she gets the ultimate freedom, the needle. I hope its many years before that happens.

Soon June 4th will be a day that we remember she is on death row. Watching the hour glass until the last grain of sand. I hope her last thought is of Travis and June 4th.

Until then we have to take a look at our loved ones and remind ourselves that tomorrow is a gift. It’s never too late to love them more. Hold them close. Cherish every moment. Remember tomorrow is a gift.

Justice for Travis Victor Alexander “The Great” has been delayed. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. We all will be standing behind Travis, my big brother. Moving forward, passing down his legacy. You were born to be great, you are special! That is your destiny! Except nothing less! A pebble has been thrown into the pond. We are the ripples. Thank you for your love, your stories, your support and your prayers. June 4th is Justice for Travis Day!

If time could be turned back, even if you cant save a life, wouldn’t it be satisfying to have the cops arrest Jodi as she drives away with the gun? My thoughts are with the Alexanders as they are surely being dragged back in time and I pray that they get the outcome that we are all sincerely hoping for.

Even after all the photos shown of Travis, I doubt his family could have recognized him, the way he looked when found. (shuddering) You can’t UNSEE those things, and those pictures of his face will haunt me. (along with that one of his neck wound. Completely barbaric.)

A message from Tanisha, Travis’ sister:

Today it has been 5 years since my sweet brother was taken out of this life and our hearts are crushed and sadden by the horrible reminder of this day. Although the pain is still as fresh as it was 5 years ago , at least we know that Justice is near and we will soon have some closure.

I miss and love Travy so very much! I hope someday not to be haunted with the anger I have inside of me for the one who has caused my family to hurt like this . I know Travis doesn’t feel anymore pain and he is with Our Heavenly Father and Our Savior Jesus Christ. I just can’t get out of my mind what he was thinking and how scared he must of been on that horrible night.

Travis will never be forgotten and his memories will never fade, and look at all these people who he still touches and inspires today.
Together we will stand united as we seek Justice for Travis!

Our hearts are filled with great gratitude for the out pouring of support we have gotten from around the world. We feel the love in all the cards, donations, gifts, the sweet comments and messages thru this page and other pages. We know you will continue to support us as we endure thru this nightmare and until we have Justice. We will continue to love all of you for brightening up these dark days.

Travis and his Legacy Lives on and I can see it in all of you as you reach out with kindness.

    Justice4Travis!

    • I love your story about your current husband. That makes me happy. 🙂

I also love Tennessee Williams! Have you read Night of the Iguana? It’s one of my favorites of his.
And I forgot to include Cannery Row by Steinbeck in my list of fave books.

I also did not think to include a “sexpot” on my list. Hmmmm…. 21 Jumpstreet-era Johnny Depp still makes me squee, but modern day Johnny Depp needs a shower and a dentist, and it really depresses me.

Are you kidding? NOW they are concerned about wasting tax payer money? seriously? After all the BS they laid down & goofy witnesses @ $300 + per hour? the same dynamic dim-wit duo that tried to get themselves kicked off the case time after time? The same nefarious bong-hit wonders that let their client trollop out that disgusting T-shirt during her “If I’m elected student body president” of the prison speech? NOW they are concerned about public opinion and wasting time & money? Good gravy in the in the morning! These two buffoons should be grateful they are not disbarred from practicing law period.

Also heard that they wanted her to just do a 20 year sentence.
Ah, let me see, it’s premeditated murder and no proof of any abuse but the Demon’s own and she THINKS (actual brain function) that she should still do a manslaughter sentence. Release Juan the Pit Bull now…SIC ‘EM…grrrrrrrrrrr

How tasteless can Nurmi be as to release that statement to the press on the anniversary of the murder. Complaining that the State is trying to put a mentally ill woman to death. Read it @azcentral.com. His practice as a denfense attorney is for sex crimes and all the sleaze bags that go along with that type of work. Check out his web-site.Hail Mary pass to taint the new jury (if we make it that far) Check out some of the transcripts released today from the side-bars during the trial. They are on Ch12 Phoenix (NBC) Martinez made a very funny comment to Wilmott. Still laughing to myself.

  64. Posted by GBPL on June 5, 2013 at 9:56 pm

Thanks Chris..that will give me something to check out in the morning!

I’m listening to the websleuths at the moment, and found one thats all Beth Karas!

She answered a question that I have been wondering… My question was where was Travis’s room mates all that time? ( The 5 days till he was found)

I thought Travis was supposed to be going to Cancun, and why it took 5 days for people to go to the house to check on him. *I’m not sure when the cancun trip was scheduled.

BUT Beth Karas said that the 2 room mates were in and out that entire 5 days while Travis layed in the shower, and it wasn’t until day 5 that they started to smell something. that. is shocking….

I started watching the trial when it was halfway over..so these were questions I had but couldn’t find the answer.
If anyone didn’t know that, and wants to hear Beth tell the story… its about the halfway point of the podcast.. I think!

    • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 3:49 am

Thank you GB, I’m going to check this out later:) It is kind of weird about the room mates but my understanding was they all lived pretty much separate lives and, being that they’re guys, sometimes weird smells just don’t phase them…same way they can walk past a huge mess and not notice it.

      • Posted by GBPL on June 6, 2013 at 6:19 am

ahhh that makes sense…if they barely interacted. Agree how they can walk pass a mess and not notice it too.
I raised 2 boys and that was the hardest thing to get thru to them.. “see it, pick it up”

Still amazingly shocking that the room mates were in and out those 5 days. wow.

        • Posted by Observer on June 6, 2013 at 9:33 am

Jodi Arias did such a good job of cleaning up before she left that there was no mess except in Travis’s bathroom which was behind his locked bedroom. The roommates never went into Travis’s bedroom, which was upstairs.

The roommates remarked that the bannister was slick like it had been cleaned and the vacuum cleaner was in the middle of the kitchen. The roommates thought Travis had just cleaned the house and was in a hurry to go on a trip that he didn’t have time to put the vacuum cleaner away.

The only unusual things the roommates noticed was that Travis’s ring and watch were lying on the counter and a doggy gate was blocking Napoleon from going upstairs. They said Travis never left his ring and watch lying around and always allowed Napoleon the run of the house.

Jodi trapped Napoleon downstairs so he didn’t get involved while she was murdering Travis. She left the doggy gate up because she didn’t want Napoleon going upstairs and howling and scratching on Travis’s bedroom door. I think Jodi removed the ring and watch after murdering Travis and planned to make it look like Travis was robbed. But she was in such a hurry to get out because she knew his roommate was due home at 6 pm that she forgot the watch and ring.

          • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 10:23 am

Hmmm, I wonder if she did take his ring and his watch off. Or maybe he took them off to shower and, like you said, she planned on taking them and forgot them in her haste to leave.

        • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 10:06 am

I just finished listening to the Podcast. Very interesting! Beth said she thinks Travis put the sheets in the wash after they had sex…I’ve heard that Travis always showered after having sex with Stabby. He clearly wanted to wash the stench of Stabby off himself and his sheets.

          • Ria – Interesting thought – but perhaps Jodi put the sheets in the wash to hide the fact that she was there and since she was worried the room-mates were coming home soon threw the camera in because it was taking so long to delete the pictures so she thought that would eliminate the evidence on the sim card in the wash-
Remember she was trying to cover up any evidence that she was there – Some men like to shower several times a day so I don’t find that strange on Travis’s part.
We’ll never know for sure since its a secret she will jealously keep to herself – something to enjoy while she sits behind bars.

            • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 10:26 am

I’d always assumed she put the sheets in the wash too, it wasn’t until Beth Karas mentioned Travis having done it that even pondered that! Wouldn’t you just love to get her in one of those torture rooms that they put people in during the war to get all of their secrets out of them! Spill it Stabby!

              • Ria I haven’t listened to the Beth Karas version of events but it sort of doesn’t make sense to me that he would wash the sheets when we know its Jodi that would throw the camera in the wash and run a load through –
The watch and ring are an interesting question too – I think you may be right that she planned on taking them and forgot them on the counter when she was cleaning up What makes sense to me is this:
                1. she commits the murder – and then has to clean up fast before a room-mate comes home – She obviously washed herself up standing over Travis in the shower since he was washed too after being placed in there according to the forensic evidence.
                2. she knows the roommates don’t go into Travis’s bedroom so its the evidence of her being there and the downstairs that matters.
Okay – sheets in laundry – delete camera pictures – darn taking too long – just throw the thing in the wash
                3. wipe down the bannisters and counters vacuum up any hair etc.
                4. make sure Napoleon is locked out of upstairs

She was in a hurry – she had to get her phone charger working again – phone Ryan that she had got lost and so was a bit late getting to him – establish her alibi for the time of the murder – etc. etc. – She thinks since she has been in the house when they were dating that any residual hairs or fingerprints she may have left can be explained as being from the past which is what she attempted to do in the interrogation with Esteban Flores –
Had it not been for the dated stamped photos and her palm print in Travis’s blood and the mixture of his and her blood – this would not have been such an open and shut case and she may well have gotten away with it –

I think she got a thrill out of it – which is why she went and bought a 9 mm. gun and knife to take on a camping trip with those guys – thank goodness she was arrested before she had a chance to cook up another story for her next event. I think those guys were lucky! Since she has absolutely no remorse for the murder I figure she was just a serial killer in the making.

It’s crazy, when I read it all mapped out like you so beautifully did, to realize neither of the room mates busted her! I don’t know why but it had never occurred to me that she most likely did shower over Travis dead body…ugh:( She is such an evil woman.

So true though, if not for that camera and the one palm print, we’d probably have another Casey Anthony outcome.

Thanks guys… that is so crazy about Napolean too..another question that bugged me. I thought he was uncared for those 5 days as well…
That was interesting Ria eh? Think that Travis washed the sheets. Ewww, probably hoping that was going to be the end of her. ughhh.

          • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 10:30 am

I think one of the room mates was fairly new to living there and it was mainly for Travis to make a little extra money toward his mortgage, as opposed to them being really close friends.

I still want to know, and having figured out yet, how Stabby got into the whole PPL thing in the first place. Who introduced her to it? How did she end up at that convention where she met Travis?

Ria, somebody gave her a PPL CD and literature while she was living with DB. Weeks later, when she and DB are really going under, she pulls it out of the closet, and unfortunately, the rest is history. She attends the conference with a couple of ladies, one of which was the one who gave her the PPL literature, I believe. Someone correct me if I am remembering anything incorrectly here, as it’s been a while..

The Arizona Central reporter must not have been paying attention to the trial because two of the questions he mentioned the judge did not ask were asked. Jodi was asked her definition of a skank and she said, “a derogatory term for a woman.” She was also asked the question about the Mormon religion and journaling and she said sarcastically, “The Mormons always want to be squeaky clean.” And Martinez objected, saying she was nonresponsive and the judge asked her the question again and she said the church encouraged her to be honest in journaling. The reporter was correct in saying the judge did not ask her if she had any pets and if she ever hurt them. I’m sure the defense objected because that would be prejudicial for the same reason the jury never saw the part of the interrogation where she told Flores she kicked the family dog and it ran away and she never saw it again.

The juror question if Jodi ever hurt any family pets shows that one of the jurors was familiar with psychopaths because hurting animals as a child is one of the signs of a psychopath. My bet would be that the question was asked by Tara the alternate or the female juror who was a nurse or the female juror who was a 911 operator. They all three said they thought Jodi was evil and not mentally ill.

      • Posted by Marnie Paige on June 6, 2013 at 3:41 pm

Yes…Yes….Yes! That’s exactly why they asked if she’d hurt any animals/pets! That’s always a question on ANY psych eval/questionnaire.

    • Posted by Ria on June 6, 2013 at 10:35 am

Yes, I caught that too Observer, re: the skank question. Kathy Griffin even talked about that question in one of her stand up routines:)

  70. Posted by Observer on June 6, 2013 at 12:27 pm

Martinez mentioned that Jodi had to have taken off her socks and clothes, hands and body before she left the bathroom because there was not a spot of blood in the bedroom, closet, stairway, kitchen, office or anywhere in the house except for the bathroom and one blood smear on the washer lid.

  71. Well Observer the blood smear on the washer lid likely came from the cut on her finger as she was loading the wash into the washer –
Since there was evidence of Travis being washed after he was dragged into the shower I’d guess she stood over him while showering herself – there were also bruises on his feet and legs from where she likely stood on top of him –
Cold blooded killer that one – but of course Stabby Einstein had to wash away any evidence of herself being there huh.

I see the defense lawyers are now trying to appeal to the public in AZ because of the cost of retrying the penalty phase – Trash talking, slime buckets that they are!

    • Posted by Observer on June 6, 2013 at 1:19 pm

I didn’t think about the blood smear being Jodi’s blood from the cut finger. You’re probably right. I know Jodi’s palm print on the wall was made with the mixture of Travis’s and jodi’s blood proving she cut herself.

      • Don’t think we ever heard whether that blood was tested or who it belonged to – it may even not have been tested due to having so much other evidence placing Jodi at the crime scene – So I am just guessing cause I wouldn’t think blood transfer would have come from anything other than herself and the cut on her finger.

    • Posted by Pfenix on June 6, 2013 at 8:46 pm

One of the most disturbing parts, her showering over him. Figured that when I saw the crime scene photos of the house. SICK!!!

      • Posted by Ria on June 7, 2013 at 9:52 am

That is really disturbing. I know they found a plastic cup in the shower also, I wonder what she used that for.

Martinez: But the thing is that if Ms. Willmott and I were married, I certainly would say I F’g want to kill myself. That doesn’t mean I want to kill myself. It just means there’s a bad relationship and I want you to leave me alone. She’s talking again about somebody’s state of mind. Just because somebody says that, that doesn’t mean that he wants to commit suicide.

    The Court: Okay.

Ms. Willmott: Judge, just for the record, I think that that was an insult because he’s trying to say that if he and I were married–

Mr. Martinez: That was a compliment, bad joke.

Ms. Willmott: I don’t see it as either. But at any point–

The Court: All right. Let’s move past that.

    Ms. Willmott: Okay

The Court: Okay. Let’s go back to the topic at issue.

OMG, my fellow eggies, u beat me to it. This was my favorite sidebar exchange w/Juan + Walnut.

To think that 5 yrs ago the demon thought she just might have pulled off a murder….gives me the creeps. She was well on her way to the cover-up….journal entries, talking with people as if Travis was still alive…returning to her life in CA….just sickening. At least she’s in solitary now.

  74. Posted by NancyB on June 6, 2013 at 4:53 pm

I had never seen this 2008 interview before by KTVK. It looks like this right around the time she was extradited to Az and was in their custody.

    • Thanks Nancy B – I think I saw bits of this previously but listening to it now once again amazes me with just how adept she is with her lies. She’s not nervous or flustered – just very calm and if you didn’t know her to be the murderess that she is – you could be taken in my her demeanor. Frightening! Hard to imagine such a lack of emotional connection with her crime isn’t it?

      • Posted by Observer on June 7, 2013 at 7:24 am

What struck me in those TV interviews after she was arrested is that she talks about Travis in the present tense as if he is still alive. She denies she was obsessed with him but Travis is all she talks about. She also pretends like she did on the stand that Travis was in love with her and pursuing her and she was just responding because “Travis is so persuasive. You can’t say no to Travis.”

When asked if she loved Travis, she avoided the question by saying, “There’s a different between being in love and loving someone.”

Even now in her post conviction interviews she won’t admit she pursued the men in her life or that she is pursuing the media. According to her, the men and the media are pursuing her.

        • Posted by Observer on June 7, 2013 at 7:25 am

          difference, not different.

        • Observer, I loved “tranquilized turtle” also it sure does describe Nurmi! Mind you I’d also need a tranquilizer if I had to spend time with the Demon.
Today I read about Ricardo Ramirez “the Night Stalker” and watched an interview video and was struck once again by how glib psychopaths are – Here is a guy, dead today, who was a killer at age18 obviously bright and well read who was on death row until he dies at 53 – No remorse and still justifying his actions until the very end –
His life was spent on appeals and i’d guess regardless of the future outcome for the Demon that is how her life will be spent also.
Seems the only ones who will suffer for justice to be served are the victims family. I’m thinking our forefathers had a quicker and perhaps more humane solution to murderers at the end of a rope.

I agree. I hope the suit the Alexander’s filed is ruled on soon so she will not get the money. However, in the pictures of the place where she is, it does not look like there are many vending machines.

      • Posted by Pfenix on June 6, 2013 at 8:55 pm

In Perryville? None! Have seen a commissary list for Level 4 inmates which is one step below Level 5 (Death Row) and she won’t be able to get colored pencils, just paper, golf pencils, and limited number of ball point pens. There are limits as to how many items each inmates can get for most items. Mail limited, and only 2 reading materials at a time.

Yes, that suit is important to close down her family helping her get money from her fake art, and getting around Son of Sam laws.

      • Posted by NancyB on June 6, 2013 at 6:40 pm

Yep – that particularly infuriated me! So now that Travis’ Legacy Fund has an operational website and one of the charities that it will be funding in the future is no kill animal sanctuaries and then she comes out with this – just do not believe that it’s a coincidence. It’s calculated. And how in the heck is she continuing to do this in 23 hr lock down. Sheesh- she’s practically incorporated.

        • Posted by Observer on June 6, 2013 at 8:22 pm

Because Jodi is evil, she wanted to be good like Travis Alexander. Travis knew what it was like to be homeless, hungry, abused and friendless. So when he became a successful businessman and motivational speaker, he helped the hungry, homeless and jobless. Jodi Arias did nothing but take advantage of Travis sexually and financially, murder him and then steal his identity. She claims he is everything she is: jealous, possessive, obsessive, violent, a sexual addict, while she is the person he was: a caring, kind person who wants to help people. She imitates everything he stood for. In a blog, Travis wrote that when he wins the Pulitzer Prize Maya Angelo will present it to him. In her latest tweet, Jodi quoted Maya Angelo. I am convinced good will triumph over evil in the end and Jodi Arias will be sentenced to death.

Observer – you’ve nailed it smack on the head. I also believe that when Travis’ siblings were giving their victim impact statements the demon was channeling herself to react like another family member – pretending she was simply one of them. I shake my head because the evil continues to be revealed.

            • Posted by Observer on June 7, 2013 at 6:26 am

Marnie, I believe she wanted his family too because he talked of them fondly. If she hadn’t been the number one suspect, Jodi may have tried to move in with his grandmother in Riverside since she wanted to become Travis.

    • Posted by Observer on June 6, 2013 at 8:09 pm

      Juror questions, not asked:

      1. Considering all the lies you’ve told and admitted to, would you consider yourself a pathological liar?

      2. What pets did you have as a child? Did you ever intentionally hurt a pet or animal?

      3. If the defendant feels she has a high I.Q – is it possible she would try to outsmart psychological tests?

      4. Do you feel you should be punished for what transpired on 6/4/08?

      5. Question for LaViolette: You say Travis gives no indication of being stalked/displays no fearful behaviour and continues his contact w/ Jodi of his own accord… How do you reconcile Jodi’s claim of D.V if she continues her contact w/Travis of her own accord? Where was her fearful behaviour?

This sidebar transcript is hilarious. Juan Martinez is so quick on his feet. His brain runs as fast as his feet did in track. He out quips the homecoming queen and tranquilized turtle every time.

Ms. Willmott: What’s hearsay? She’s not quoting anybody. I’m not understanding what the hearsay is.

Mr. Martinez: Well, then maybe you ought to go back to law school. I mean, she’s talking about an item, an out-of-court statement. How else could she have gotten that knowledge from other than out-of-court statement offered to prove the truth of the matter asserted. I …think it’s under, I think, it’s 801 Arizona rules of evidence.

Ms. Willmott: Well, I’m really familiar with hearsay, especially after this trial. I’m also familiar with what hearsay is not, and this is what we’ve been discussing. She’s been talking about subject matter this whole time.

Mr. Nurmi: Before we move off the topic of verbal abuse, I’m going to ask the court to admonish Mr. Martinez. Yesterday he said that he would kill himself if he was married to Miss Willmott, now he says at bench that she should go back to law school. I think of those comments are totally inappropriate and should be, at least– very least– admonished by this Court.

Mr. Martinez: I didn’t hear what he said. I would like for him to say that again.

Judge Stevens: He didn’t hear you. He’s asking the court to admonish you for making a comment about killing yourself because if you were married to Miss Willmott. Counsel, I understand some of this is tongue in cheek, some of it is just the stress of trial, but let’s try to be as professional as possible when we have these bench conferences.

Mr. Martinez: And I would note – that’s fine – admonish Miss Willmott also on the record, so it’s not like we can sit up here and complain about one side.

I agree with Martinez that the sex tape does not show Travis breaking down her barriers but instead it shows that Jodi is the aggressor because she called him, she taped the call and she is initiating the sex and the fantasies. I think most of the jurors were probably so embarrassed by the tape that they blocked it out. The sex tape served no purpose except to attempt to turn the victim of a cruel murder into the villain and humiliate Travis’s friends and family and get back at them for not letting Jodi plead to a lesser charge and let her walk in a few years. It backfired because the jury found her guilty of first degree murder and 8 out of 12 wanted to sentence her to death.

    • Posted by NancyB on June 7, 2013 at 6:23 pm

Yes yes and yes! I could not listen to it after the 1st moments. I was plenty aggravated that it was then allowed to be played AGAIN but just Travis’ words, which were blown u on all the big screens in the courtroom. I thought it was a hideous decision by Judge Stephens.

    • I agree Observer that the sex tape served no purpose, I too quit listening to it as it was obvious Jodi was leading the conversation and Travis didn’t know he was being coached in his sleepy voice to dream up some fantasy stories.
Frankly I could care less how two mature adults conduct their private sex life. They can copulate swinging from tree branches for all I care wearing monkey masks if that turns them on – it’s their business and boring to me since we all exist due to some sex act.

Seems obvious to me that anyone who needs to document the sex act and then show it to the world had ulterior motives for it in the first place – I call it a big FAIL!

    • Posted by Observer on June 8, 2013 at 5:14 am

Those cold soulless dark reptile eyes are typical of psychopaths who murder. Jodi Arias and Casey Anthony had the same dark crazy eyes as the serial killers who sit in the courtroom and show no emotion or remorse for the horrible murders they committed. Jodi is a serial killer in the making and if the cops hadn’t arrested her before she went on the run with the 9 mm and two knives, she would have stabbed and shot many more victims. No telling if she would go after Mimi, Lisa and other women Travis had loved or new male targets who may reject her and then be hacked and shot to death.

      • Posted by Observer on June 8, 2013 at 9:40 am

Liver failure probably caused Ramirez’s skin to turn bright green. What’s also weird is that Ramirez was married to a woman who met him after he was convicted of 17 murders of women and suspected of many more. Ramirez married Doreen Lioy, 41, a freelance magazine editor with a bachelor’s degree in English and an I.Q. of 152 in California’s San Quentin Prison on October 3, 1996. How could a smart woman be so dumb as to marry a Satan worshipper who admits he is evil and the worst serial killer in criminal history? She has to be as crazy as her husband.

        • I googled him yesterday and was struck by the same thought – why would this woman send him 75 letters when he was convicted and then why get married to the guy – Strange for sure! I do think he was an attractive man and listening to an interview he gave he seemed intelligent but obviously they both had scrambled brains.
Apparently there were a number of women after him once he was caught – Maybe the Devil has an exclusive Club for his crazies?

          • Posted by Ria on June 8, 2013 at 3:16 pm

It’s crazy to think how young he was during all of this! I turn 45 in a couple of weeks and I was in high school when he was on his murder spree. He died at 53 so only 8 years older than me! It really makes me believe Stabby was on the path to being a serial killer, had she gotten away with her first kill.

            • Ria I have thought that about Jodi all along – Seems to me all these psychopaths have alot of attitude and no conscience. They all seem to have the same characteristics – and are good liars, have no remorse, love the media attention and don’t seem troubled by either their crimes nor spending their lives in prison or on death row.
I liken them to a dog with rabies – or a bear who attacks a human and gets a taste of human blood – we put them down as they will attack again. I see these human Beasts the same way – they will attack again since it gives them some sort of rush of power and they like it –

              • Posted by Ria on June 9, 2013 at 10:11 am

It’s scary to think what Stabby was up to when she got arrested with a gun and knives in her rental car. The rental car and the kill kit…eerily similar to the circumstances on her trip to kill Travis.

  82. Posted by Observer on June 8, 2013 at 4:54 am

Martinez was right when he said in the sidebar on the sex tape that he could tell Travis didn’t know the sex tape call was being recorded by the way he was talking. Because Nurmi and Wilmott and Jodi had described Travis as controlling and cold and uncaring towards Jodi, I was afraid to hear the sex tape for fear we would hear Travis barking orders at Jodi like an Army Drill Sergeant. Instead, I had to laugh when I heard Travis’s and Jodi’s voices. She sounded like a girlish seductress and he sounded like a groggy little boy being awakened in the middle of the night by a drunk mother and offered all the candy he wants. Just the way she leads the conversation towards sex, starts masturbating and asks him to repeat himself, it is obvious she was taping the call so she could send it to the women he was talking to on Facebook. In her demon mind, Travis was having sex with every woman he talked to and she wanted to be the only one to have sex with him. Sex is her identity. Without sex, she is nobody. That’s why she seduced him and took the naked pictures before slashing him and shooting him to death. She was going to be the last woman he had sex with and saw before she made him suffer as she ended his life on earth.

I’ve noticed a similiarity betweeen Arias and Seacap, the police officer who murdered his wife and burned down their house two days after she served him with divorce papers, then called 911 and said he was asleep on the couch, his wife called him from upstairs and said the house was on fire, to get her 2 and 4 year old sons out of the house and he heard a gunshot and ran upstairs and found her dead with the flames between them. Police found a suicide note by her body.

Like with Arias’s self defense story, Seacap’s suicide story doesn’t match the evidence.

1- There was no smoke in her lungs so she was killed before the fire was set.
2- She was shot three times behind the ear and in the chest and leg.
3- She was found lying in bed with the gun underneath her and the covers pulled up.
4- She had told a counselor and her best friend that her husband had threatened to kill her and burn the house down and tell the police she committed suicide.
5- A prosecution expert said the suicide note was forged and he had taken her journal to work.

    Both Arias and Seacap:

1- Planned and carried out the murder after being rejected.
2- Covered up the crime by destroying evidence.
    3- Forged documents.
4- Told unbelievable stories to the police.
5- Changed their story on the stand.
6- Are arrogant, remorseless and cocky.
7- Was the first person friends, family and police suspected.

Interesting article (although it really irritates me that someone writing for CBS doesn’t know the difference between the words then and than!). If you watch the little clip on there you can actually hear her telling them to stop filming if she gets too shiny…unbelievable!
    http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-57585083-504083/meeting-jodi-arias-first-impressions-never-lie-or-do-they/

    • Ria – What I found most interesting is the interviewer’s last question – “If she can so effortlessly make up this lie in front of me, What else is she capable of?”
The truth is that for people like Jodi their whole speech and life is about lies – they will mix in a crumb of truth to make the lie believeable but to lie is a way of life for them –
It’s how they keep everyone they are around off balance.
I guess Canada will have its big murder trial over Luka Magnotta soon but he’s already been diagnosed at a schizophrenic – not that this fact will help the family of his victim Jun Linn.
